What if storage could be even cheaper?

About this video
One of the biggest developer pain points on blockchains is storage staking. If state storage doesn’t need to be replicated on every node, it becomes much cheaper to store data onchain.
That opens the door to replacing storage staking with a simple gas payment for writing to state.
Much easier for developers.
Much simpler for users.

If we don't actually need to replicate the state storage on every single chunk producer node, then the state will become even cheaper than what we have today. If we can do that, then we can further reduce the cost of storage and actually replace the storage staking with gas payment is pay for writing to the state as part of the transaction fee and you don't need to worry about storage sticking which is a major pain point for both developers as well as users.
