NEAR Bytes 1 - Account Creation with Ledger

   this is an account creation walkthrough using a ledger device and near wallet we're going to do this example on testnet so we'll go to wallet.testnet.nir.org then we're going to go ahead and create an account and type in an account id that we want we'll go ahead and create the account and then here we're going to choose our security method which will be a ledger device we'll hit continue now we're going to

   connect our ledger make sure you have the new app already installed if you don't you can follow these instructions or view the more detailed instructions on our documentation page so now we're going to plug in our ledger device we're going to unlock it with our pin and then we should have the near app installed we'll go ahead and select the near app by pressing both buttons on the top then it'll say pending ledger review so

   we'll hit both buttons on the top again at this screen and now it should say use wallet to view accounts so once it says use wallet to view accounts we can go ahead and click on continue now it'll say please confirm the operation on your ledger we should see a public key we'll click just the right button to go through all four pages that will view the entire public key until we get to the approved screen

   then we will both buttons at the top then should show us connecting on your wallet now it'll say confirm the operation which is going to add a key this is going to be a full access key to the account so we'll hit right to account example3.testnet write contract allowance zero right approve and this is where we hit both buttons on the top again so now that we approved it while it should say processing
