About this video
the concept of writing software on the fly that only exists for the moment it's needed. Similar to how network protocols like TCP and UDP handle message passing, this idea suggests that much of our software doesn't need to persist beyond its immediate use. Could this approach reduce costs and reshape how we think about programming? #SoftwareDevelopment, #OnDemandSoftware, #Programming, #FutureTech, #EphemeralCode

know what I'm about to say isn't quite uh work yet and I'm still trying to sort out how this might look but I could see a world where we just write right software like source code itself on the Fly and it only persists for the moment in time that's needed to go do a thing and think of it as almost like a protuff exchange like you don't care about the protuff itself you care about the messages that are being passed back and forth we already have this with networks

with tcpi message passing or UDP message passing all that sort of stuff I kind of think we're going to end up down a similar path at some point not for all software but and not for All Digital systems but a lot of it doesn't need to persist past a certain usage Point too so you know like it's going to be possible to go do right now we don't do it because the cost to do that is so incredibly High
