GMGM everyone. I'm Peter from Near Week, your source of what's next on NIA. And I would like to welcome you all to the February edition of the Near Protocol Town Hall. A lot of very big announcements have been made throughout the month of February and especially the last couple of days have been super eventful. Um almost hard to keep up with what's actually uh going on in the ecosystem which makes me even more excited about this town hall. So let's
- 0:44
get into it. As always, our first presenter is the co-founder of Near Protocol, the man who put the T in GBT, Ilia Pulusukin. I'm just going to add you to the stage, Ilia. Hello, Ilia. Do you hear us? Yes. Hello. Hello. Hey, everyone. Hope you're having a good uh start of the February. have had the bang on January and the world is just accelerating into that.
- 1:16
Awesome. I'm just gonna just slice to the stage, Ilia, and yeah, take it away. Sounds good. All right. Awesome. Yeah. So I wanted to start um because um this is like a proper town hall since uh beginning of the year uh on the Northstar for NIA foundation and kind of how we're thinking about the uh like organizing and setting goals going forward.
- 1:46
So high level what Near has become been becoming is really this vertical integrated AI commerce platform right we focused a lot and continue growing our near intense products and platform to really enable this crosschain but also same chain new assets kind of new way of trading across crypto and we are starting to the fab to kind of real world assets starting to come in as well, right? So, at the same time, AI is clearly becoming the way you're going to interact with
- 2:26
computing. This went from, you know, Ilia talking about it to now a ton of people experimenting with their uh kind of agents and I'll talk about it a little bit a bit later. And so what we're really bringing is a platform where all of these things are integrated into one solution where you can trust uh you have privacy and you know that you're operating on a neutral open market to participate in this economy.
- 2:54
[clears throat] So you can think of it as combining blockchain near dance and near AI into one uh vertically integrated stack where blockchain provides us settlement at scale privacy accessibility to smart contracts. We have intents that are really enabling this global unstable liquidity global markets that connect to all web 3 and web 2. And we have AI that provides us this verifiable private AI
- 3:20
that gets smarter every day. So each one of these have its own obviously go to market. There's ton of uh people for using it. Um we definitely put a lot of focus on intense last year and coming this year. This has been an exciting and amazing um progress, right? Even with market uh going down, the intense volume kind of continues to uh creep up and and and grow and uh more kind of announcements. Defi just today went out um that they integrated
- 3:55
their intents like bringing more volume to this. So across the board we have amazing growth. I'll talk about AI in a second and obviously blockchain continues to showcase you know 1 million TBS the scale we're going to talk about privacy in the coming few weeks really allowing anyone to build things uh like hot just launched their limit order book on top of near intense showcasing the
- 4:18
extensibility so how do we measure reading right like we say hey this is how wins well the reality is at the end it's all about creating value for others right and That's the way to measure this is revenue. I think like historically we've tried to measure monthly active users.
- 4:36
We've tried to measure CDL. All of these have not really been that useful and sometimes were too easy to kind of um for people to gain, right? Because the idea is to then apply this to across the ecosystem and bring more and more projects who align with this. So measuring revenue as a kind of end goal really creates alignment for everyone that like they need to create value and somebody else needs to pay for it. Um obviously there's ways to buy revenue
- 5:06
etc. And so like uh we are talking about here about profitable revenue with uh positive margin. Now think of this as kind of growing revenue to create near to be the environment where we are cash positive near flow positive right as we're reducing inflation on one side we get and increase demand on near from the revenue on the other side effectively becoming uh nearflow positive and so that's a very important obviously uh for the
- 5:40
whole ecosystem and um uh we're going to be rolling out more updates come going into Nikon and aton around this. So, I'm not going to spoil too much, right? There's only like less I guess like two weeks left until then. So, just uh kind of keep tight on this. I know I know people are very uh excited and want to and interested in with what are we doing with revenue, how much kind of more revenue can we can generate from intense etc. So, all of that is coming. Um it allows us to
- 6:12
really prioritize uh how we're building and what we're building to kind of grow this uh consistently it also means we've been saying no to a lot of things right so near Foundation stopped grants a while ago we have been still doing investments and some of the kind of partnership M&A type thing conversations but we have stopped that either as well because at the end like they are have a very long like
- 6:39
investments in M&A have a very long return and and like low likelihood and we see market obviously reshaping a lot of a lot of sadly a lot of teams are running out of money across web 3 in general and so it's it's really hard to kind of um if we try to evaluate every single deal every single conversation when we have something on our hands with intent and with AI to really drive forward and so we're really focusing our efforts on that across the Obviously,
- 7:10
you know, Legion and, you know, other ecosystem partners continue helping out with new projects, etc., but we're not doing like financial investments into that. Now, switching gears, right? This is kind of the northstar. This high level goals. We're focusing our efforts across near AI, near intents, uh, how to grow revenue. At the same time, you know, the world is changing, right? the things that I've been talking about um that kind of neo ecosystem been talking about
- 7:39
where block kind of uh agents are on the front end AI on the front end blockchain in the back end it's really happening now right we've seen quot which now renamed to openclaw went viral over the weekend on 26 and then a mold book which is like a social network for agents was created on 28th and then you know starting this week everybody's seen different ways of the agents using crypto to participate in the economy,
- 8:08
it's still pretty, it's still very toy examples. So al although this is, you know, huge hype and everybody's excited, it's still just toy examples and a lot of it is just, you know, bunch of new coins, but the core idea is there. Your agent is able to uh improve itself. It's able to build new tools. It's able to connect and use different uh tools. And so we're really sh going now from hey is
- 8:36
agents happening to this is really agents are economic actors right they're able to do work they're able to uh do jobs and they're able to pay they're able to receive payments and so here this is really the opportunity for us to showcase all this infrastructure that we built over past now how many years that this is the best infrastructure to run all of this on. So we've had a bunch of exciting work, right? So first of all, we uh we have a wait list right now and
- 9:07
we let already a bunch of people on uh to run open claw inside neari cloud right this is so open claw is your kind of personalized agent. It usually runs on a computer. It needs access full access to file system to run uh different things. So it can build its own tools can call things etc. But it's very insecure, right? Because effectively uh if you run it on your machine, it can take over your machine
- 9:31
and do something. Um at the same time there's people who are like, oh, you know, uh what if I run it somewhere else? The thing is like you then give all your data somewhere else, right? You're giving whatever hosting platform everything about you, all your credentials. Uh and so people been running it on Mac Minis, right? They've been buying a separate computer just to run this, right? Which is costing $1,000. And so what you can do with near
- 9:56
cloud is really run it in the cloud with guarantees that nobody can see all your information right it's as if it was local but uh you get all this uh ability to spin it up in you know one like one minute or even less um and really start to use it. So white way this is open we letting people in and we targeting hopefully in you know in a week to open it up for everyone and really enable this to ease use. Uh now there's still a
- 10:29
lot like the whole architecture is really exciting but there's a lot to make it uh kind of secure uh with your primary credentials. So be careful for now how you use it. But this is something that we're really pushing forward. How to make this truly your agent that is aligned with you that has all your memory information and at the same time secure is not leaking it anywhere.
- 10:53
Uh including two AI instance providers like entropic and uh uh open AI. Uh the other thing I actually don't have a slide here we released from neari that you can use entropic you can use uh uh openai and gemini in your nearai private chat as well as API cloud what this means is you you don't get obviously end to end privacy right these companies are still seeing the requests that are sent to them but they don't store the memory they don't store the information they
- 11:24
don't store and they don't see who you are using right they just see that some user of neari cloud is using it across all the users, right? It's all mixed in. There's no way to individually uh retrieve that information on their side.
- 11:39
So we call it anonymized uh instead of private in this case. But this allows to have kind of more robust system where you can have for some more private tasks using kind of fully endto-end private models and then for some things maybe that require uh harder thinking, planning, etc. that maybe models yet not clearing uh in open weight, you can switch to the kind of one of the centralized models. Uh and so you can use them kind of interchangeably now from the same API, from the same UI and keep your data, keep your memory, keep
- 12:12
your uh open claw private on the back of that. So really enables kind of a new way of mixing and matching models. Now the other thing that I was mentioning right we have you know obvious near intense and we have near AI there's been a lot of questions how they work together well we just launched the agent marketplace right so this is early alpha but it's really about bringing these two concepts together into this final product right and the way to think about it is this is a generic
- 12:47
marketplace where agents can do anything can ask for anything Right? And this is purely intent based, right? Agents describe their intent, the outcome they want and then match with another agent, what we usually call a solver. They create effectively a contract uh the other agent does the work and then there's a way to dispute if the work was done correctly or not. And this can do anything digital but also you can have physical where the other agent needs to submit the proof that the
- 13:17
physical work was done the product was delivered the Amazon package was shipped etc. You can trade information you can run long-term jobs that require uh kind of more resources. So all of this is really kind of enabling this generic intent uh economy that is fully a aentic on the front end and using blockchain for escrow for dispute resolution systems on a back end. It uses near as a currency as well. And so kind of the
- 13:47
idea is that you know agents can uh freely exchange near to then also go and pay for their APIs for inference for storage on near cloud. So really kind of enabling the economy for agents. Again this is alpha. There's like only you know beginning on the amount of tasks the way the matching works etc. There's a lot of work to be done to make this robust and scale. But I encourage
- 14:12
everyone to spin up their agent and as you uh start serving it from near cloud and actually plug it in there and let it either submit tasks uh so you can deposit some near for it or actually do some of the tasks and uh get paid. So I'm really excited. All of this pieces really coming together. We're gonna have your personal agent that's focused on you, that's aligned with you, that's
- 14:37
[snorts] userowned on a front end. This is going to be how you interact with computing, how you get things done. The agent will be proactive. It will know everything about you and it will keep that information private. It will not leak it. And then you will have this agentic marketplaces in intent infrastructure to really coordinate and cooperate between different agents, between different parties to trade, to exchange information, to get things
- 15:01
done. So all of this is happening. It's happening really quick. I'm excited to see whoever is able to make it to near con talk more about all of this. Thank you. Thank you so much for coming, Ilia. That was a great explanation of everything that's uh going on currently. And before we go on to the next presenter, I just want to highlight reading the latest piece on intents that
- 15:35
I has posted lately on his substack called attention. It's all about how intense near intense can serve as a unified commerce layer for the age of AI. super interesting and really gives you a brilliant picture of where this whole industry is moving and why blockchain and the products that NIA has have built fit perfectly to serve the uh exactly the needs of agents. So uh big recommendation go read it. All right. Uh, next up we
- 16:16
have Bowen from Stable Flow. Hello, Bowen. Hey, Arie. Hey, how's it going? Good. All right, Bowen. So, the stage is short. If you want to share screen, sure. Let me know. Yeah, I'll share my screen right now. Remove mine. This Yeah, I saw a pretty awesome post. Uh someone deposited or someone used stable throw to move 400k to hyperlquid.
- 16:50
Uh yeah, we've been Yeah, we've been processing some transactions into super cool. Uh really great to see um product uh working and people using. I think you guys been doing an amazing job. Thank you. Thank you. All right, Bowen, state yours. Cool.
- 17:07
Hi everyone. Uh my name is Bowwin or go by social um zero extratic. Um um I'm working on a project called stableflow and uh that's being um uh we launched um late last year and uh now um and it was a protocol entirely built on top of near intent and leveraging the tech stack of near intent and um focusing on delivering um um the best um stable coin transfer um crosschain transfer um
- 17:37
experience uh to the market. Um so yeah and um setting the context a little bit uh why we did stable flow uh is um uh this the market is uh has a uh quite clear signal right uh although like bitcoin everything else um dumping uh non-stop um but the market cap of stable coin just keep going up and it's only clear trajectory is going to um by uh going to a billion dollar uh market cap
- 18:07
um um like in in in the next like one or two years at le um at the most. So uh the growth is accelerating but the infrastructure is not um and hence we see the opportunity uh by addressing the problem we can um um we can u probably earn some market shares and uh also serving the real needs in the market. Um so what we saw in the market is um although these um stable coin market cap has been growing but um the frictions uh
- 18:36
of moving stable coins across chains specifically like namely um Salana um um hyperlquid and uh Tron etc. Uh no EVMs uh the frictions of moving stable coins and also on top of that uh swapping between stable different stable coins um is expensive. uh sometimes moving um the same sustainable coins uh crosschain can go up to like 30 bits and uh that does not count for uh the actual slippage of uh swapping um say for example USDT and
- 19:07
USDC um so but the under the hood they are backed by the same uh US dollar right um so uh this is the first problem that we're trying to address um with the current market cap um with the current momentum they shouldn't be there and uh currently with the intent we can lower down to uh almost 101 uh with the exception of some uh gas payments uh that need to be addressed. Um and second
- 19:32
thing is um uh second reason of why we launched this is because um with the introduction of the Genius Act um in the US um we see um and the currently already evidently uh there's more stable coins coming out to the market um so for example like USDH MUSD uh cash pd etc.
- 19:51
And there's just going to be more stable coins uh coming out to the market and um tie them to tying up to different um use cases out there. Um so um with that the complexity will actually um um um be greater because um with those like minor stable coins uh there's going to be even like higher frictions, right? There's not going to be that many market makers that many solvers that going to serve their liquidity. So swapping between for example like MUSD to like USDC um is
- 20:24
going to be expensive um unless you they pull of liquidity which um is like PY USD doing all the curve. Um so with the intent network we can actually improve uh improve significantly the um uh the uh capital efficiency uh through the solar network and um so uh that's why we we built stable flow. Um so the current setup of the stable flow where we how we serving the market uh um comes down to three pillars. One is um by aggregating
- 20:54
different um market optimized stable coin rails. Um so um the the good thing is that um near intent uh is the best rail for uh moving uh most of the stable coins especially like um um swapping between stable coins. Um but also uh but like um there are also some of the um other solutions for example like um USDT0 uh that's being that's using the uh layer zero FTS and also uh the CCTP uh that comes uh with uh uh that
- 21:28
supports like USDT and USD zero transfer between different networks at zero cost. So we're basically aggregating uh we're not only supporting them but also aggregating them on top of near intent uh to making um um the transfer um between um uh transfer of stable coins crosschain even like cheaper uh with some of the rails they don't tap into right because um they only serve the limited market only single stable coins and near intent um will serve like dozens of of tokens. Um and secondly is
- 21:59
um uh there's a cool uh product feature uh escro intent and the um um we can leverage uh the escro intent and also a uh close partner in the US um um to work more closer to the issuance layer uh such as um the bridge and anchorage um and uh by tapping into that directly uh we can get uh not only better pricing and deep liquidity but also more serving more stable coins. And that's coming by
- 22:28
the end of the month. And um and I believe um um some of you already uh familiar with the uh stable coin trans transport protocol. Um and uh um we are basically um helping the development of STP with uh together with proximity and uh bas with this we can um also uh uh improve uh the solver um capital efficiency enabling them to access more liquidity and hence um uh giving tighter quotes at scale.
- 23:03
Um so yeah so we've been serving the market for about small couple months and uh right now um I was hope we can approach uh we can we can reach 100 mil uh in volume today but uh we are we're not there yet but we're not there yet but we're very close um so um so um the reason we have done that is uh we can do that is because um with zero marketing still today zero paid marketing um till
- 23:33
till today. Um so um is because we're leveraging like um um some cool cool tech stack right and also uh we're using the text to serve some of the like specific micro problems uh like what I said the Tron ecosystems and also the hub liquid ecosystems and um Tron ecosystem was supported I think not very long um after the launch of the product probably like in in a couple weeks and now electron uh volumes is ranked like
- 24:06
the third uh largest on stable flow and uh we also built some of these small uh features um uh like uh gas energy uh energy gas savings uh to help Tron users to uh move their stable coins across chain at much cheaper rate. And compared to some of the like um other example in the market like Tron um cost chain transfer can cost up to like $140 sometimes um due to their design of
- 24:38
their uh uh network gear intent normally it can um send um tokens at are usually around like $4 to $5 and with stable flow we um we can lower down by another like uh 50 to 60%. Um and with hyper liquid basically uh what we have done is um we done um um we put together the near intent transfers and also the albbitron to hyper liquid deposit into um um basically like single transactions and allow users to not um
- 25:14
um not not only by uh um logging on to like see their liquidity balance but also being able to top up using your intent and uh at the market lowest rate. um um into the hell account uh using stable coin balances across the different networks. Um so uh these are only two examples and um all of the feature that we developed are included in the stable uh stable flow uh APIs documentations and you can see it um uh you can access very easily
- 25:47
um on stable flow website and it comes um free API zero platform fees and you can actually um because um we're running on the intent it can allow you to define your own affiliate fee structure. And uh we also give our partners um close integration support. Um yeah and and on top of that um we will be keep adding more stable co rails um into that. So you'll not be able to only get
- 26:15
near intent quotes but also get like USDT0 and CCTP and also other some other like stable coin rails and uh routes liquidity routes uh that we integrate with. Um finally uh on the road map um some uh small launches um so uh next week uh near intent is going to um uh a solver is going to scale up the transaction capacity to uh 2 mil per transaction. Currently it's kept at 1 mil. So um and we'll be basically we've been observing in the market that some
- 26:51
transaction can actually go up to like 800 800 to 900k right and uh this will probably just um free up some of the whales to um start using us um and we also launching the aggregated routing um aggregating the USDC0 and CCTP together with near intent um uh next week and launching it next week in couple of days and that will allow us to um serving some of the networks that not being served on near intent uh first and um I
- 27:22
believe they will um um launch the feature that will uh that will enable uh near intent transaction to carry a message on the destination chains that will u basically address our our car problems but uh that's in Q2 um but before that um our aggregator routing will address that problems um and by the end of the month uh some exciting stuff.
- 27:45
Uh we're going to launch uh we're going to support um um working with proximity support uh USDH and MUSD um and some other stable coins and uh I think we'll be only the be the only party and uh to serve um oneonone conversion between USDH and USDC and that's going to be important because um it's especially important for uh traders to convert the assets uh um because they not only the traders on habit they could be also traders on lighter or some other
- 28:19
per platforms and so we're working on that um and um if you're familiar with STP um we are um it will roll out we'll be working with proximity um if you're not you can check out the proximity uh Twitter um and u if you do know uh SDP uh we're rolling out uh in stages and in by hopefully by end of Q1 uh we'll roll out STP for solvers to start using STP to leveraging up uh to to increasing uh
- 28:50
their leveraging the liquidity to increasing their codes and uh by Q2 um we'll be opening up on on stable flow side um for um some retails to start um using the saving vaults because essentially like um those solvers will be tapping into liquidity at a cost and it um um by calculating those um um access u um cost of uh cost of access of those um stable coins. We can calculate how much API APY we can us offer to the users uh believe will be uh quite competitive to the market and we'll be
- 29:26
opening up the vaults in Q2 to the public users. Yeah. So um if you uh want to try out um here's the um application link, here's the Twitter if you want to learn uh some more about Staflflow and here is the um community support channels if if you in case you need our help. Um yeah, thank you. [snorts] Thank you so much for coming. Keep shipping. I love what you guys are doing and the page you're working at. It's a pleasure to watch. Thank you.
- 29:57
Thank you. Yes. [snorts] All right, so you heard the man. Of course, not financial advice. Do remember to do your own research, but um if you're interested in testing out anything that Bowen just uh talked about, I um highly recommend going to www.app.stableflow.ai and um check out what um Bone [snorts] and the team have been shipping steadily for a little more than a year now. Um it works like a charm. All right, next up
- 30:30
we have Artum from the NE Foundation who has been doing a little bit of hacking or building some stuff for the Open Claw community integrating some NIA stuff. So atam um super excited to have you here and learn more about what you've been um what you've been up to lately. Uh feel free to share your do you want me to go through the slides or do you want to share screen? Yes. Yeah, you can go through slides.
- 30:58
Yeah, let me know when to press the next. Okay, you can you can feel it maybe. Yeah. Uh, yeah. Hi everyone. I'm Artam from Near Foundation and today I'm excited to show you Near Intense CLA, a tool that brings AI power at cross chain trading to life. Uh, this is a command line interface for near intense and when you combine it with tool like an open claw or any other magic happens.
- 31:27
Uh what is near intense? uh near intense uh know everyone and I suppose everyone know near intense as a reminder instead you figure out how to bridge token uh find the best exchange rate navigate to multiple chains you just state your intent I want to swap 10 near to BTC and that's it behind the scenes professional solver uh complete your complete your best deal uh they handle all complexity roading bridges
- 31:59
everything and open claw quick story as the AI agent uh and we want to talk more about this one uh it's gone through quite a journey cloudbot basically cloud AI with hands uh it's AI but it's not only chat it's also doing on your computer the projects becomes moldbot named after molting and final evolution open claw people using it to automate everything from ML to blockchain. It's
- 32:32
one of the hottest AI framework at the moment and near intense CLI. So, uh this is where things come together like near intense CLI is a bridge between near intense and AI agent like open claw on the left. Uh you can see like it's CLI for near intense. You can execute cross crosschain swaps right in inside your terminal. Works with near ethereum salana stellar basically every possible blockchain. uh what near intense support
- 33:05
and the main key here it's perfect for AI automation and also on right you can see quick start uh how to install it globally or locally and try to use it uh directly in your CLI and key features of near intense CLI are crosschain swaps swap tokens between any supported blockchain instant deposits uh you can deposit did whatever you want, whatever token near intense supports. Uh you can also easily withdraw it when you're ready to cash out uh or move your funds
- 33:42
and also you can transfer it uh inside near intense network to any other user who using near intense uh every feature designed to be super simple, fast and automation friendly. And how magic works uh where it all clicks. So as human uh when you're talking to open close the AI agent you say something like hey open close swap 10 uh near to BTC open can understand uh intent executes the right command using near intense cla the CLA
- 34:19
communicates with near intense which wrote your trade to the best solver and that's it your swap executed and flow human AI agent CLI and protocol near intense. Um, no need to switch between interfacing, copy pasteed addresses.
- 34:39
Just just chat with your open claw uh and open call can translate it into blockchain actions. And why it really matters uh the old way you open multiple wallets manually bridge token between chains. It's not always clear uh deal with gas fee sleepage it's time consuming and uh error can happen but the in way just tell your intent swap and that's it automated execution by AI agent intent based fast secure and clear
- 35:17
uh you don't need to be an expert with blockchain you just talk to your AI agent and the AI can agent can do everything for you and as get started you can try it by yourself just to install it as global package uh or if you're using open claw you can just ask open claw to install near intense from npm and uh everything open source everything uh documented how to use it from your own hand how open claw can use it and uh we can try to grow community
- 35:54
about this touch as well and uh I prepared a small demo uh how open can interact with u near intense directly through telegram and I'm just chatting and uh open just execute my command and that's pretty awesome touch yeah uh I just created like fresh wallet generated by open claw from near intense cla I and I want it just like deposit near uh token to it and open clock give me address. I can copy it. Uh I send it some money to it and I just ask to check my balances
- 36:40
and uh we will see this response. I already kind of have five near and my second intent or just like message was uh I want to swap to uh near to BTC. super easy. Uh you you describe what you want and open claw or like in my case it's mot to do and how to do it through near intense CLI and that's basically it. uh he even asked me like do you want to check your balance and yeah I wanted to proceed with my balance to understand
- 37:18
what's changed and uh in a moment we can see like I already receive some BGC and that's it and ideally uh and it works I can proceed with multiple requests at the same time in one like message for this reason I just asked uh uh open claw uh to swap to near to USDC and withdraw it to my uh new uh my personal uh near wallet and uh he can proceed through CLI with one command just swap it and after
- 37:56
he figure out everything happened and he can then execute command for uh withdrawing tokens from my internal uh wallet. to to my personal account and and that's basically it. After this, we can check balances again to understand what's happened. Uh open CL knows everything about each transactions and we can even see that USDC was withdrawn and he know about this one and that's
- 38:29
it. Uh super simple uh everything works like a charm only chat interface. uh no complexity uh basically future of web 3 plus uh AI. Thank you. Thank you so much for coming Atum. I think this is um really great way to showcase how AI can all of a sudden interact um with the blockchain world and make UX so much smoother.
- 38:57
Really cool feature you built and everyone you heard the man um get experimenting. Thank you so much for coming, Adam. Thank you. All right. And next up, we have Jay from Ping Pay. And Jay has just released his product. And he's here to tell you much more about everything Ping. All right, Jay. Happy.
- 39:20
You're you're in the hot chair. You know the deal. Let me know when to change the slides. All right. Yeah, let's jump into the first slide then. That would be great. Awesome. So, hey everyone. I'm Jay and at Ping Pay we've been building out the orchestration layer for payments leveraging the universal liquidity layer of near intense. Next slide please.
- 39:43
Just for a quick overview of what Ping is. Ping essentially sits at the center layer above fiat and all chains acting as one payment network that connects all blockchains and fiat systems into a range of different use cases such as SAS products um e-commerce donations bill splitting subscriptions digital services and agenda commerce. These use cases are facilitated by our core anything do
- 40:07
anything payment offerings within the pinglet um which I can tell you more about on the next slide. Um so yeah we recently had the platform launch opening up the um usage of our core elements in the ping layer which are the ping checkout API and ping links both of which can be accessed via the ping dashboard um and of course our chain abstracted on-ramp which can be integrated via our SDK and it also
- 40:32
powers our pay with card features at checkout 2. So starting with the ping API, the ping checkout API is an API in which teams can easily integrate into their applications and start accepting payments in any asset supported by near intense while making sure that they're settling in the token that they want to receive. It offers three main payment flows out of the box. Pay with wallet for all near intense assets on near, pay
- 40:56
with deposit for all manual deposits or QR code scans um supported on near intense. And then pay with card. Um, I do have a demo on this slide now which Peter's going to show. Awesome. So, it's easy to get started and it can be integrated in less than 10 minutes. All you got to do is uh add an API key in the dashboard and any web hooks you want to add. Um, you can also then view all of the payments coming through that API in the payments tab as well as in the
- 41:20
sessions tab. See where people are dropping off in the funnel and um making payment and search any specific customers in the customers tab. Um the desired recipient the desired recipient wallet address in the settings tab is what you set for all API payments to go to and they'll go to this wallet without needing to manually withdraw anything.
- 41:40
So going on to ping links um they're a no code solution for accepting anything to anything payments. You can create a hosted checkout in seconds. Let users pay their way and you receive the asset that you want to receive. The ping links dashboard section shows all of your links at a glance. things like their name, the description, whether it's a fixed or open amount, um the amount you priced it in, and the volume you made at each link. You can also filter them um from active to inactive, manage them,
- 42:04
whether that be sharing the link, copying the link, editing it to see if there's any changes you need to make, or deleting them entirely. You can also view the detailed section of each payment link um to show the specific volume and individual payments made of that link. All progress statuses are shown here too. And you can also check the intense explorer for them or export each payment into a CSV for bookkeeping purposes if you would like.
- 42:29
Um so yeah, I think the next the next step is okay, how do you make a payment link? Um it's designed to be super easy to set up. You just navigate to the create ping in the dashboard. Um enter your title. So in this example, it's near town hall. The description would be ping links demo. um the payment amount that you want to receive. Here you can choose the payment you want, whether it be fixed amount or if you want it to be open, which is good for things like donations um or tipping. The payment
- 42:55
maker just chooses the amount that they want to pay with checkout, but for the sake of this demo, it is a fixed payment of 5 USDC on near and then of course the wallet that you would like the payment to go to. Then once the payment is created, you've got three options of how you can share it. just sharing it via a standard link or copying it. Um, or you can share it via the QR code option, which I think is a great feature for
- 43:18
things like Neiaon or Ember or general events or activations. The QR code can be scanned in person to take them directly to make payment at that payment link or you can also use the option to share directly on Twitter as well. Um, so going through to this ping link that we've just created, like I said before, there's three options for the ways to pay, all powered by your intents. Um, payment via wallet, payment via deposit or payment via card through our chain abract.
- 43:46
Um, for the deposit flow, uh, you can pay via manual deposits from any chain. You can see here all of the chains that, um, are supported via intense. They're also an option. You can select it and get the quote for the deposit address to make payment. In the demo, it's obviously Zcash. Um, this is good if you don't necessarily want to connect your wallet or pay from any chain. You can also scan the QR code on mobile and make
- 44:09
payments directly from your mobile wallet. But in terms of the payment that I'm going to show in the demo um I'll go through the payment with wallet flow. You select the asset that you want to pay with. You can see the balances of what um I can choose in this option. I want to pay with NIA. It then gets the quotes. Um you can also view more detailed transaction information if you want to look at things like fees. Um and then you approve the payment in your
- 44:32
wallet. And then we move on to the waiting for payment stage. This is where um near intense comes in and it's being rooted through near intense from near and my wallet as the payment maker to the merchant's desired asset and destination wallet address. And once the payment is successful, this is then reflected in the dashboard which we're going to flip back to now that payment's completed.
- 44:54
So yeah, in the dashboard you can see this has all been updated. Um it's reflected there that 5 USDC was received to the merchant wallet at that ping link. Then you can go on the detail tab, see that the payment success was successful and also the pending ones that I did. This can also be viewed on the explorer as well for full completion of the payment. That's everything in terms of the demo, but if we could jump on to the next slides. Um,
- 45:18
thank you Peter. I did want to say that Ping is also sponsoring a bounty for the innovation sandbox which is currently happening. Um, I'd love to see any teams build an application, an agent, or a SAS workflow that uses ping payments across fiat or crypto, whether that be anything from the API, ping links, or the on-ramp SDK. Um, we will be doing a workshop tomorrow at 3M UTC. So, if you are interested, tune in. You can learn a bit
- 45:41
more in detail about ping outside of like the presentation format. And then if we could jump on to the final slide, please. Um, like I say, we've just launched. Super excited about that. So you can get started today in the link to the dashboard or you can view all of our documentation or reach out via the ping Twitter or my telegram or Twitter. Um we've also just opened our telegram for ping too. So if you want to scan that QR code and jump in that would be awesome.
- 46:07
But that's everything my side. Um looking forward to see what people build with ping, people using ping. Um feels really good to have this live. So thanks for having me. Uh feels good. Looks just as good Jay. So huge congrats again on everything and you heard it the man. Go check out the sandbox environment, the sandbox innovation sandbox to build off uh paying and maybe make some money as well. All right, Jay, thank you for coming.
- 46:36
Bye. Okay, next up we have Claus from Citizen House. Claus, are you there my man? My man. Hello. Hello. Hello. Welcome, Claus. I know it's super early your time, but early bird gets the worm. So, thank you so much for coming on to the show and telling us a little bit about Citizen House. I know that it you have been presenting this um a few times lately, but I think we we cannot
- 47:05
get enough of it. I think this is uh super cool what you you've been doing. So, um Claus, um please feel free to do your thing. I'm just going to add your screen to the stage. All right, everything is set. Yeah, thank you Peter. Uh, welcome everybody. My name is Klaus. I run Hack Humanity. We're a facilitation and product studio specialized in decentralized governance uh of AI and blockchain. Uh, and we've been working deeply with Near Foundation in the setup
- 47:35
and launch of U House at stake. And alongside that, most recently, we've been building out Citizens House. Uh, and Citizens House is a one person, one vote governance system. Now this has just gone live uh three days ago and why do we need uh citizens house? So specifically we need it to facilitate the near community purpose trust uh proposal for the transfer of funds in a dissolution vote. So going back two or three years ago there was an initiative of the near community purpose trust uh called NDC and when that shut down it
- 48:08
left 3.3 million NE sitting in its treasury and the only way to um uh make use of that is to have a vote about it and so the uh the trust legal instrument stipulates it must be a one person uh one vote uh voting system and so that's what citizens house is and so we're asking ble to go to citizenshouse.org uh register your account and you can participate in the vote. So how that's going to play out over the coming weeks is we have a twoe verification period that started on February 2nd and will
- 48:42
run up to uh Feb 16. So that runs for 14 days. Uh then we have uh Franchesco who's the enforcer of that legal trust will post this proposal for people to view for 7 days. Uh and then we have a 14-day voting period which runs Feb 23 to March 9. And you have to have created your uh verified near account in advance during that twoe voting period in order to participate in that vote.
- 49:11
So what it looks like is you can connect your wallet then you sign a transaction proving ownership of that wallet. Uh then you verify your identity. Uh we use a provider called sumsup. Uh it'll prompt you through these the following steps. Uh you can add lots of different types of IDs whether it's uh passport, driver's license, or other national ID cards. Uh then you do a livveness check.
- 49:33
Um so your your camera either on your phone or your laptop will pop up. Uh you move your head around and checks that you're you're a real human. It also checks that your face matches the face on the ID documents uh that you've supplied. Okay. And then we'll go to and that will run for two weeks. Then we have the onee, you know, um notification period and then we have a twoe voting period. So just to summarize, verification is open. Go to citizenshouse.org uh if you want to participate and have
- 49:57
your voice counted in this vote. And the other thing to note is, you know, if we have say a thousand people uh registered during this period, there's uh a quorum. A quorum is the minimum amount of people that then need to participate to make this vote valid. And that quorum amount is 7%. So if we had a,000 people verify, then at least 70 people, 7% would need to participate in the vote. in at least 50% or more. So 35 would need to vote in
- 50:25
favor for this um vote to be considered valid. And what people are voting on is to transfer that 3 uh 3 million near uh from its current location which is a near community purpose trust uh to house of stakes treasury uh which will be the main uh governance mechanism for all of ecosystem. How we make deci decisions collectively across different nodes token holders etc etc. So um and at the same time we'll dissolve and shut down the trust. That will be the detail of
- 50:56
the proposal. So yeah uh that's it. Back to you Peter. Thank you so much for coming Claus and go in sign up. I'mma do it now Claus. Uh so I don't forget it. And I'm looking forward to test out everything you built. Thank you for coming.
- 51:16
All right. Last up but not least, we have Chris from Aurora. And Chris, how's it going? Hi, how are you, Peter? I'm doing well, thank you. Excited to hear um more about what you guys have been up to lately on the Aurora team. Do you want to share screen or Yes, please. I want to share the screen. Yeah.
- 51:42
Yeah. One second. I'm just going to move mine here and add yours. We're good to go. Um, Chris, take it away. Okay, thanks Peter. So, hi, I'm Chris at Aurora. And today I want to show you the intense widget built by Aurora and powered by Near Intense. Near Intense already solve question execution at scale. uh what we build is the missing piece, a way for builders to use that power inside real apps uh with less friction.
- 52:17
So here's the reality today. Users don't live on one chain. Their capital is spread across ecosystems, wallets and assets. But uh at the moment that matters most. So the funding we still force them to bridge, switch networks or leave the app entirely. That's where the builders lose users. and your intense solve execution. Our goal is to make that solution accessible and usable by default and this isn't theoretical neur process
- 52:46
around two and a half billion USD in monthly volume uh with no cost settlement through nearest one chain verifier no bridge risk and the question we kept getting from teams was simple this is great but how do I put it inside my app and that's what what uh that's that's exactly what led to intense widget.
- 53:10
Uh out of the box, the widget supports supports 20 plus chains and 75 plus assets and this will only grow as near intense supports more networks and tokens. Uh that means you're immediately compatible with where users already hold value without custom integrations uh routing logic or chain by chain work. So let me show you what it looks like in practice.
- 53:36
So here is uh our uh intense widget. You can configure it uh with different options. You can specify which networks you want to display in your widget. You can do the same with the tokens. You can turn off and on some of them. You can specify default buy and sell tokens. Uh you can enable or disable account abstraction. You can use your own wallet or use a built-in one. You can specify the fees and then also you
- 54:10
can uh tweak design to your liking and then you just export this code and uh use it uh in your app. So as you saw this is a visual builder uh you configure design widget uh behavior then export the code. And now uh one of the use cases is instant onamps. A trader holding USDC on RPM can instantly fund a per position on starknet or a near-based app. No bridging, no network switching, no explanation required.
- 54:46
For trading apps, this directly translates into higher conversions and no less troubles. Uh the widget also includes native monetization. uh you can set up a general fee or granular fees based on any swap routes. Uh fees are transparent to users and create a clean revenue stream without building custom infrastructure.
- 55:14
So for teams uh that wants speed, you can drop a production ready embedded widget directly into your app. It handles swaps, deposits, and withdrawals in one interface fully powered by near intense. And to make things even easier, we prepared a cloud skill that installs and configures the intense widget in about 60 seconds. It helps with wallet connections, supported chains, tokens, logic, and even deciding when to use the widget.
- 55:42
So here's what that setup looks like uh end to end. So now now I'm not sure if the video is going or the audio is going to play from this video. So please confirm, Peter, let's install. Everything is good. So first of all, you can just import the skill. Yeah.
- 56:01
And then verify that it is installed and then you can start from here. You can also verify that it um has the steel detected. As you can see, you can see it here the intense widget. So now we can prompt CL to to create a simple app. So simple prompt uh create a simple demo page that only displays the intense widget. get me through the choices I have to make.
- 56:27
First decision we need to make is the the ST. So we use XJS standard or D. So we use standalone so that the well connected integrated into the widget and safety VM. Uh and finally uh let's go for dark. It's also asking us to install the SDK. So yes, it's approve. Now it's uh adding the styling to the widget.
- 56:54
It finished building. It had a couple of build errors that it fixed in its own. And now we're ready to run it properly. Finally, you can open your local server to see the widget again. This is a fully functional widget. You can um you can connect uh you can trade on it.
- 57:11
Uh do everything that uh the widget. So that's it. Uh as you can see, it's not complex to implement the widget. Literally just one point to go and you should be set. Cool. And this isn't just tooling. We also support teams with positioning, excuse me, launches, announcements, demos, and co-arketing. Uh focus on UX improvements enabled by intents.
- 57:39
Uh who benefits from this? Uh this is useful across the ecosystem. So wallets, trading apps, DeFi dashboards, token projects, anywhere users needs to move value across chains. So if this resonates, try it, believe with it, and tell us what you think. Everything is live today at intense.dev.
- 57:59
Thank you. Thank you so much for coming, Adam. I think it's a really cool widget you built and um try it out, everyone. get building and um help out sorry help with Chris and the team improve their product. All right, Chris, have a great night. See you.
- 58:18
Thanks, Peter. Bye. Okay, everyone, we're at the end of the town hall. Just going to share my screen. As always, a kind reminder, remember to join the near legion. This is where the beat of Near is. And as a member, you can join the Eco Collab call once you have earned your way all the through the ranks and get a peak behind the scenes of NIA. You can get more influence and as always you can arrange
- 58:51
and participate in IRL local events in your city or country. Um this has happened in several cities all over the world so far and only more events are going to happen uh over the course of the next year. And um last up of course the main event for near protocol of the year is the nearon conference held in San Francisco from February 23rd to February 24th. It's going to be a lot of
- 59:22
uh interesting presentations and talks from industry leaders um from everything to from AI infrastructure uh AI developers to uh banking and uh commerce infra. So if you're around uh in San Francisco, do remember to go to neocon.org and sign up in order to uh attend.
- 59:48
This is going to be um a really really great event where everything that has just been uh that Ilia and the the teams of the Near Protocol have been shipping lately is going to come much more um into detail. And I'm pretty sure as usual with Neon there going to be some pretty serious and uh big announcements.
- 1:00:12
So stay tuned um for February 23rd and 24th for everything um near. Thank you for watching. As always remember to do your own research. Uh nothing of what is presented on this stream should be considered um financial advice. However, I would say that with pro proven product traction um with proven product market fit, NER is positioned at the intersection of three AI infrastructure, the universal
- 1:00:47
liquidity layer for assets and commerce aka near intents aka the layer for aentic commerce and of course something that we pride ourselves with and think is extremely important in this world AI privacy. Um what near AI have been building with the AI cloud and keep building out is a part of the sovereign AI stack slowly but surely um taking shape. We believe that privacy is not a
- 1:01:20
feature, privacy is the future. So private AI, if you ask us, is one of the most important things to solve for in the coming years. Well, all we have to do is win one of these um of these markets and then we can benefit from all of three of them.
- 1:01:42
Let's go near fam. So if you're building something amazing, this this stage is yours. Don't hesitate to hit us up and remember subscribe to subscribe to Near Wee to stay in the loop. See you next month everyone. Keep building and looking forward to see some of you in San Francisco. Have a great evening.
- 1:02:00
