Uh, no wait, I have the link. There you go. All right, so we're live. Hi guys, we are back uh for the ironcloud hackathon hosted in Barcelona and happening uh globally because we have people joining from a bit everywhere to participate in this exciting first um version of the um of the series. Um so yeah essentially we kicked off uh the we kicked off the event uh last Friday and uh now today we

  2. 0:39

will go through uh the workshop uh the first workshop to tell you how to set up your iPhone cloud agent and um yeah just to remind you a bit uh where we are now um we uh are hosting this uh ihome cloud hackathon um for the community to uh start to build automated workshop uh using this um secure version uh developed by near AI uh of the classic open cloud and uh so what we are our

  3. 1:20

goal uh by organizing this event is to start to build uh skills and tools that will use all over the the community. Um, considering the Barcelona version of the ironcloud hackathon, we are hosted uh by our partner the coding school that's called 42 Barcelona and uh all projects will be registered and submitted through Nova. Um, Nova allows the agent to directly register and submit its participation to the hackathon for the judges to fetch

  4. 2:02

all of them in one go and uh we are supported by near builders that's facilitating our building. Yeah. Oh, sorry. No worries. Yeah. Uh let's take a look at the timeline. So as I say we started Friday. You can watch the kickoff uh on XN YouTube uh on the channel Near Legend.

  5. 2:30

Uh we are today, Monday, June 15th. And um yeah, our workshop is about setting up your first iPhone cloud agents. Wednesday, we will have the workshop dedicated to adding skills to your ion cloud agents. and Thursday uh we will host a demo day and um giving the prices to the to the best o of yours um and we will have a a local party in Barcelona.

  6. 3:00

So if you are in Barcelona feel free to join but if you are not in Barcelona you can also watch the watch the demo day remotely. The submission requirements are pretty straightforward. uh you will do this through your agent via the chat window.

  7. 3:19

So in your prompt you will tell your agents uh to submit itself to the ironcloud hackathon and uh you will provide the following information. So you will give a title to your agents a description of what it is doing. You can export uh the skills and tools used in a simple command. The command is ion cloud skills list and this will output a list of all the all the skills your ion cloud is using. Same for the tools. This give

  8. 3:52

us uh and and the rest of the judges um an a very straightforward way to catch up with what your ion cloud is doing. We are asking for a video demo of approximately five minutes. uh it should be a public YouTube URL. Uh this is uh the best way for you to showcase to the whole community what you've built during this hackathon. You can also provide the GitHub repository if if you want that's

  9. 4:22

optional. Uh but if you have one just drop the link so uh it will be used later for the post hackathon followup. Um yeah you will submit that via the hackathon skill. So um we will we will tell all this Wednesday, right? Cool. So let's just align back on what the goals of this hackathon are. Really quick, we are building ironclaw use cases. So this is just uh end to end what your agent can do. Think about something that is in your daily life, a

  10. 4:59

workflow that you can do. What could you possibly use automation for? And then we're building those uh use cases into Ironclaw. When you do that, that does include a poll request to IronHub. And then uh we'd also like to post those ideas to nearbuilders.org/project so that we can vote on them amongst the participants on what is the best uh use case that we've seen. We're also trying to build tools and skills for ironclaw.

  11. 5:26

So on Ironclaw, we have markdown markdown skills and wom tools. When you make a skill and a tool, you're going to be opening a poll request to IronHub as well as submitting uh with your hackathon submission. And you can actually see more about this uh this process at hub.ironclaw.com/developer.

  12. 5:48

And then we're also building partner integrations. So we have some partners [clears throat] which we're welcome. We're inviting more to please join in in on the party, but uh look through their documentation. They're providing some uh work workflows that they'd like to see.

  13. 6:05

They have some resources on how to activate their APIs and stuff like that. And so you can build workflows that integrate directly with them. We'll have some rewards at the end of it. We're still kind of figuring this out, but uh we uh but we are trying to, you know, make the most of this. the there are no cash prizes, but we're thinking that uh individual use cases or workflows that are published, the best build tools and

  14. 6:33

skills are going to amount to some maybe some near merch uh globally, but uh I know that Julian has some merch that's available for the folks at Barcelona on a demo day. And honestly, that's that's what's most important here. So, we'll we'll try and explore some other uh rewards. projects are going to be evaluated on technical soundness, real world usefulness and the contribution to the ecosystem.

  15. 7:00

And then as Julia has mentioned, we'll have two virtual workshops. The one that's happening right now today on Monday and then another one on Wednesday. And then uh join the telegram support channels. So ironclaw AI is for your feedback about ironclaw and then near legion Barcelona is for hackathon coordination. And if you want to also get involved with the builder community, then you should be joining nearbuilders chat. All this is accessible via the nearbuilders web page. Just check out nearbuilders nearbuilders.orgclaw.

  16. 7:33

Um and then I think we're ready to start our workshop. Julian, was there anything that you last that you wanted to say before we get started? No, let's go. Um yep, let's start. Cool. All right. So, let's think about the best way to do this.

  17. 7:52

Let me share my screen a little bit better. Now, everybody, we'd like you to forgive us because this is going to be a little experimental. We had this uh we had one workshop that Julian had pre-recorded, but Ironclaw has been changing. so much within the past uh few days that we've had to adjust. And so we're doing it live. We're going to uh we're going to try and maybe maybe this might be a

  18. 8:24

little bit of a weird live stream. We might try things out just a little bit. We might do some new takes, you know, just because at the end of this we're trying to get a recorded live stream. So bear with us please as we get this going.

  19. 8:36

Yeah, it's true that I cloud is uh I think is updated on a weekly base. So, it's really uh I mean it's a real uh dedication to catch up with every updates and stuff. It's exciting because it goes better and better like on better eyes. You can you can see the improvements. But yeah, right. It's exciting stuff and really it's getting it's getting so much better. That's probably the best thing about it is it's getting really really good. Um, okay. So,

  20. 9:06

just to orient ourselves, last week, uh, at the kickoff, we had this hackathon guide that we gave out. Hey, by the way, I believe you wanted to go on the subdomain ioncloud.nebuilders.org, don't you? Yeah, I've got this one pulled up, too.

  21. 9:21

Oh, yeah. Okay. Sorry, I missed that. So, I just wanted to give a little bit of context first. Is that um last what Friday? Friday in the kickoff, we provide this hackathon hackathon guide. You need to get an a near AI API key, set up an ironclaw binary, uh go through skill. We've essentially taken that same thing, but we've upgraded it just a little bit. So, uh now you can go at ironclaw.nebuilders.org,

  22. 9:50

or which will redirect you to set up and then uh you can come over to set up your local binary and this will walk you through the process. So ignore this this uh alert that's going on down there. But essentially to first start you need to get a near API key. So go to cloud.near.ai.

  23. 10:18

Sign in with whatever you want. I'm going to sign in with a new account. Awesome. If you haven't created an organization, you'll have to go ahead and do that, but I already have. So, you can come over, create a near AI key. Let me make sure that I've got some credits first.

  24. 10:53

It looks like I do have five credits, but for anybody that's at home and you want to get some credits yourself, click add credits. $5. Add it and add it in here. You'll find in this guide that there is a notion guide that tells you how to claim $5 of free credits. Here you'll find the promo code that you need. Near hack Barcelona.

  25. 11:22

Oh, I didn't mean to. I did not mean to buy with hot. Probably because you're not a first time uh buyer. Oh, and your lo wallet login only supports crypto payments. Yeah. No, you're right. Okay. Yeah, that's the other thing. So yeah, if you connect with your GitHub account probably uh you will have this um yeah this UX looking for let's let's do that one more time.

  26. 11:54

Okay, so we are here in the ironclaw setup. First step is you have to get a near AI API key. So the first step is to create your account at cloud.near.ai. If you go there, if you want to be able to claim $5 of free credits, you have to sign in with an email account rather than with a near account. So, I'm going to go ahead and do GitHub.

  27. 12:23

You need to create an organization if you haven't yet. Come over to credits. I do have some credits, but for those of you at home that want to claim, select credit card $5 of credits. And then on this page, enter in a promo code near-hack- Barcelona.

  28. 12:52

When you apply that, that'll uh cancel out the sub to sub total and you'll be able to complete your order. Now, I'm not going to be able to do that right now because I already do have credits. Um, but if it's your first time and you don't have any credits, go ahead and get that started. Okay. So, now that I have credits, I can go over to keys and create an API key.

  29. 13:18

I'm going to call this ironclaw workshop one. I'm going to leave a $1 limit just because I'm leaking this to everybody. That doesn't bother me. Okay. So, I've got my I've generated an API key and now I'm going to uh save that on my clipboard and now start ironclaw reborn.

  30. 13:46

So to start, do you see my iter? If I pull it up, right now I don't see it. No, just the page the the browser. Sorry. Okay, I see. That's okay. Well, what you're going to do is you're going to export your Near AI API key into your terminal.

  31. 14:21

And then you're going to run this script. I should I should pull this up. Okay. Yeah. So I think awesome I have. So, first following that guide, I'm going to get clone. So, first following the following quick start guide, I'm going to get clone ironclaw and cd into ironclaw that already exists.

  32. 15:24

Sorry, one more one more cut. Okay, so following the quick start guide, the first step is to clone the ironclaw repository. And then I want to export my near API key. So the one that we just held in in clipboard, I'm going to go ahead and leak right here.

  33. 16:06

And then you can call the startup script to get started. That's going to take a while. It's building the ironclaw binary and then it's going to run the dev server for ironclaw itself as well as the web UI with the ironclaw hooked up.

  34. 16:31

So for time sake I'm going to go ahead and come over to my already built project. So it's already built. So that's what is happening here. We've already built we've started ironclaw reborn and now we're starting the dev application.

  35. 17:12

There you go. Huh, everything's working. Cool. All five services. So now with the local dev, it's pulled up. Uh, let me make sure that I'm showing the right screen. [snorts] Okay. So now with the local dev server started, this will show up on localhost 3000. You

  36. 18:20

can see your chat with the individual threads. You can see the automations, the extensions that are activated. You'll notice that the Nova submit WASOM tool is already installed. This is a tool that you'll use in order to submit and register to the hackathon.

  37. 18:41

But you'll also find a registry of extensions or tools that you can use. GitHub, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Notion, so on. All this can be used can be made useful for your guys' uh workflows and use cases that you'll be building. There's also directory of skills.

  38. 19:03

Ironcloud comes pre-installed with a set amount of of uh skills. You can use them as examples um or you can uh browse the skill catalog. Now, something to understand is that this new version of Ironclaw is uh currently being built out. It's uh so the the catalog has not yet been updated for the new ironclaw, but that should be expected this week.

  39. 19:38

Okay. So, uh, this is kind of your interface for interacting with Ironclaw. You can start a new thread. You can say, "Hey, what's up, Ironclaw? What can you help me with? It looks like we're going to get an error. So let here and we're gonna try that again in a second.

  40. 20:15

Did you set up the M file correctly? That's all what's in it. Yeah, that's set up. It's this is a separate issue. Let me actually I want I want to see. Yeah. Uh, no, the chip is not set up. Yeah. Okay. So, there is another way that you can connect to a UI.

  41. 21:00

Um, there's an ironclaw console that's available at uh port 301 v2 uh slashv2 and you can also interact it directly in here. So, an ironclaw. Hey, uh, ironclaw, what can you help me with? But this one too seems not yet working properly.

  42. 21:40

Oh, no. It's doing some cool. It's doing tool calls. Yeah, that stopped working right there. Okay, we're going to we're going to uh make some fixes right now and then try this again in a second.

  43. 22:49

anything I can do on my side? Um, I think we need to we're going to do some fixes quick. Give that another shot. Uh, I mean, you could clip if you want. Um, Nova, if you wanted to share your screen and show how to get a Nova API key, but then you need to talk to the skill to do that, too.

  44. 23:25

Yeah, this is probably for Wednesday, actually. This uh Nova setup and and ironcloud skills. Um, all right. I could showcase how I clone everything from my from my local machine because it's something you skipped on your side. Yeah, sure. So then here, do you want to uh So you want to start from the top, do the setup, and then you're going to do the local binary install.

  45. 24:02

Yeah, just the local binary. I don't need to to do the new AI API key and stuff. You you've done that already and yeah, nothing changed. That's cool. Okay, go ahead. I I'll stop sharing and then if you want to get that. Uh [clears throat] [snorts] so again, thank you everybody for tuning in. We're clip farming to create a uh new workshop video because ironclaw just got a lot of updates.

  46. 24:37

Good morning. Morning. Good to see you guys. Thanks for tuning in. All right, Julian, give it a shot. Maybe Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead. Yeah, I will follow up uh with the with the link that we've sent you. Um the one that is uh a stepby-step guide to uh develop uh to to deploy your ironcloud binary locally. Uh what I do first is to clone this uh GitHub repository near builders/ironcloud.get

  47. 25:16

I will just create it with this name. [snorts] All right. I move to it. I own reborn. Uh then I will uh export my near AI API key uh just as just have you seen with Elliot. All right. Then um I should be able to run the scripts uh in my souvenir. It will ask me probably to clone. That's something that's interesting to see because you might bump on this uh on this error. I should have to clone.

  48. 26:16

I'll do this now. In the app [sighs and gasps] there is a dotf.ample. Uh so it's something that I will copy and then paste and rename to a classicm file. Yeah, you don't need to fill down anything here. uh so far uh because we are exporting what we need but so the script will need that to run properly and the other thing we'll have to do then is also run the command bun uh bun

  49. 27:00

install for it to install all dependencies. These are the two steps uh that are documented in your errors. Um, but we'll maybe we might add them directly to the quick start guide actually so you don't have to run onto it.

  50. 28:20

your build is faster. Yeah. Yeah, I noticed that. I don't know. Maybe my computer is less busy now. Yeah, that's what it says. Uhhuh. Now that's something I haven't seen before. So, you need to um set the better off secret. Okay. Yeah.

  51. 28:46

In your uh let me let me send you that. I just put in a fix so that it did that automatically but you have to do this manually right now. Okay, put that in your env. Okay, thank you. All right, and since we are here, I will actually build the uh bum install. I believe I will need that.

  52. 29:24

Okay. But install. Cool. Now I can run the scripts again. Sorry. Uh CD one more time. One more time. should be faster. Yes, because everything is built. H what did I do? Did I I forgot to export Yes. H Yeah. Okay. And now the scripts.

  53. 30:37

Here you are. So that's what it will look like when you build everything from scratch. uh you have to run the scripts and then yeah pretty much everything is automated as soon as you provide the the different uh environment variables it needs and then you are back to um we are back to IOT's interface I don't think that's yeah the is not is not being built on my computer for some reason Okay.

  54. 31:11

So, maybe you can take the the hands back. Yeah. Yep. Uh, take you down. Put me back up. Okay. So when you have all that running locally, you'll be able to come in. This is your dashboard for working with ironclaw. You can see your chat, your automations, the extensions, the skills.

  55. 32:17

Create a new thread. Say, "Hey, Ironclaw, what can you help me with? After some time, it'll tell you. You can even ask uh ironcloud about the environment that it's sitting in the uh repository. We'll do some tool calls, listing directories, reading files.

  56. 33:31

Then after some time, it tells you exactly what's going on in ironclaw. So it's a secure personal AI assistant designed with user first security, self-expanding tools, defense and depth and multi-channel access. It's all built in Rust.

  57. 33:47

Cork crates. These four crates are really the uh what shines in the new rebuild in Ironclaw Reborn is how everything is separated and it can be individually swapped out. Some tool integrations are already baked in. So you'll be building some tools, your skills and tools directly into the ironclaw binary, at least for the purpose of this hackathon.

  58. 34:20

Although I should say that we do have an iron hub where you can browse skills and tools that have been built. Any skills and tools that we build during this hackathon will be published to IronHub, including the use cases that we have.

  59. 34:38

But at this current moment, IronHub is is designed around the V1 ironclaw binary. And uh during this hackathon, we are really pushing forward with Ironclaw Reborn, which has not been fully uh in integrated with Iron Hub. Not yet, but um we're expecting that very soon.

  60. 35:04

So how to create skills and tools in this project? Uh I want go ahead. Um yeah this will be this will be the plan for Wednesday actually. I believe that. Yeah, I believe we covered all what uh the participants need to know to setting up their iPhone cloud, right?

  61. 35:36

I think we did. I think I do want to try and get one more end to end. Yeah, let's see. Uh yeah, you're going to talk about the hackathon the skill on on Wednesday. Yeah. Um I mean if you want to start showing how to install skills especially from the chat window because it was not my program uh my Wednesday program.

  62. 36:11

Oh that's right. What I'm showing Wednesday is uh installing skills from the terminal. Uh so not via the ripple like you are doing now. So maybe Yeah, that was a try. No. Okay, that's good. So we'll save we'll save how to install skills for Wednesday. That's all right. All right, let if you don't mind, I just want to do one more run through of that and then and then we'll end it there. Um for anybody that's tuning in again, thank you for bearing with us. We're um

  63. 36:40

Ironclaw Reborn. It's gotten a lot of updates. So, we're we're trying to clip Hey, a new workshop video. Good morning, Francisco. Good to see you guys. If um if you have any questions, we'll be on for only 10 more minutes. We're going to try one more clip of the workshop. Uh but if you have any questions, we'll answer at the end of it. Okay.

  64. 37:13

Okay. All right. Let's do this one more time. Okay. So to set up Ironclaw for this hackathon, you're going to go ahead and go to ironclaw.nearbuilders.org. Here you can either use a hosted agent or a local binary. At this current moment, we're going to use the local binary because this has the most updates and it has not uh it does not have the support of the hosted agent.

  65. 37:59

We're going to use the uh the local binary for this workshop right now. So, click here, set up locally. The first step is you need to get your Near AI API key. To create your account, you're going to go to cloud.ne.ai. If you don't have an organization, you're going to have to create one.

  66. 38:23

You'll purchase some credits and then you'll create an API key. Okay. Then when you have your API key in your clipboard, we're going to set up the ironclaw binary. So to do so, we're going to copy and paste to clone the repository.

  67. 38:57

Then we're going to export our near AI API key and then run the dev script. I know I already have the clip of the dev script running, so I'm not going to switch to that. Okay, so now that we have our uh death script running, we we're coming to localhost 3000 and we can see our ironclaw dashboard.

  68. 39:56

On our dashboard, we can see our chat with the many different threads with our ironclaw agent. We can view our automations and create new ones. We can configure extensions. You'll see that the Nova submit tool is already configured in your ironcloud instance, which is what you'll use to register and submit to the hackathon.

  69. 40:19

You can browse the registry of other extensions and tools that are available like GitHub, Notion, uh, and Google calendar. And then you can also browse the skills. Some skills come pre-baked into the ironclaw binary. Uh you can use them and activate them directly in the chat. And then these are also the skills that you're going to be creating during the hackathon.

  70. 40:46

When you start a chat, you can ask it a question. Hey Aronclaw, what can you do? Then ironclaw will reply and tell you what you can do. You can uh activate skills and tools via ironclaw. And that will be the topic of Wednesday's workshop on how to use how to build skills and tools for ironclaw.

  71. 41:22

Cool. That's all I wanted. Yeah. Thank you very much. Very cool. Um, I will take a look at uh and try this interface. First time I'm seeing it. That's exciting. A whole new a whole new interface with the integration of this um of this.

  72. 41:44

There is a interface that's baked in which you can use too, but I've been finding it easier to use the other one just because it's it's uh it's written in Typescript. The one that's baked into the binary right now is just like static JS.

  73. 41:59

You can use either or, but I think I have a bit of a preference. Okay, let's just round it off. Um, that concludes workshop number one. Julian, you want to go ahead and do the uh the next steps? Yeah. Um so yeah, have you just seen um the next steps for you will be to set up your ironcloud, join the telegram chat uh at near legend Barcelona. uh as for the the hackathon uh coordination uh and then well engage with your peers build your ion cloud and submit via the

  74. 42:35

ion cloud uh hackathon skill and then of course Thursday we'll meet all together either remotely or uh in the 42 Barcelona school for the demo day we will run this workshop uh on how to submit to the hackathon uh by yeah Wednesday uh same time I think it was 300 p.m. UTC or 5:00 pm in Barcelona.

  75. 43:05

That's the next meeting that we have in two days from now. Cool. So thank you everybody everybody for tuning in today for this workshop. Again uh the hackathon goes until Thursday. Think about your workflows, get your ironclaw running, and then get hacking. For any updates, join the Telegram chat near Legion Barcelona and start building.

  76. 43:32

Thank you, Elliots. Thank you, everyone. Yeah, thank you for coming on. We'll catch you guys later. See you.
