About this video

Bridgeless Cross-Chain DeFi: Discusses the elimination of asset bridging, enhancing liquidity and user experience in decentralized finance.

Smart Contract Layer on Non-Smart Contract Chains: Explains how relayers act as a smart contract layer, enabling functionalities like DeFi on chains like Bitcoin.

Simplified Bridging and Enhanced Safety: Covers the trust-minimized setup for bridging between NEAR and non-smart contract chains, focusing on the simplified approach for both users and developers.

let's talk some real life examples here first is a bridgeless cross chain defi the advantage here is that you no longer have to bridge assets so there's no minting and burning of assets there's no messaging that has to be passed between Chains It's a straightforward approach where you work out of one wallet able to interact with multiple defiles which opens up liquidity which makes a much better experience for the end user you

can either do things like have defi on bitcoin or other non-smart contract chains because now the Rel layers are essentially serving as the smart contract layer on top of something like Bitcoin you could actually have multi-chain account abstraction cuz your gas Rel layers are allowing you now to have a account abstraction that maybe is not native to another chain all through this if you do need to do some bridging uh you also have kind of a trust

minimized setup because you actually have a one-way bridge between near and that either non-smart contract chain like a Bitcoin or even going to ethereum so that near always can see where the assets were deposited and all those requests are going through year and so it allows all of that to be a one-way path which is safer and for the end user again it's a much more simplified approach and for the Builder it's also more simplified as well is less

components you need to then worry about so moving Parts allows you to focus on the things you really want to like is maybe the user experience or a larger feature set for what you're trying to build lots more information is going to be coming out in the next few months as well as again the test night will be rolling out uh we hope everyone's able to give this a try and please reach out
