# NEARpedia # https://near-pedia.xyz > A live NEAR knowledge layer for AI agents. It tells an agent when its NEAR code uses something that has been removed, deprecated or changed, before the code breaks, with a source and a date on every answer. ## Why it exists Agents write NEAR code from training data that predates recent changes: near-sdk-js was archived ("DO NOT USE") on 30 October 2026, nearcore 2.14.0 removed the DelegateV2 action and the developer gas rebate, the NEAR Lake tutorials were retired, and the @near-js/* packages stopped at 2.5.1 in favour of near-api-js 7.x. NEARpedia syncs NEAR's own sources every few minutes to hours and answers from what they say today. ## MCP server https://near-pedia.xyz/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no auth, read-only). 27 tools: For code: - check_code: one source file or manifest (JS/TS, Rust, Cargo.toml, package.json) checked for removed, deprecated, changed or superseded APIs and outdated dependencies - check_deprecation: is a package, API, repo or service still alive, what replaces it, with evidence - resolve_package: an npm or crates.io package at a version: latest, yanked, deprecated, replacement - get_breaking_changes: removals, deprecations and breaking lines between two versions of nearcore, near-sdk, near-api-js, cargo-near and others - explain_error: a NEAR error's cause and fix, from docs.near.org - find_known_issues, get_protocol_status, get_doc, search, semantic_search, find_code_examples (each example checked by check_code), get_standard (NEPs) For builders: - get_radar: what is changing now and needs action; every alert expires when its subject resolves - list_proposals, get_proposal: House of Stake, read from vote.dao - list_incidents, get_incident: security incidents of NEAR protocols - find_project: NEAR Catalog with TVL from DefiLlama - get_partner: NEAR Intents, OutLayer, Trezu, HOT, Rhea: contracts, docs, GitHub - get_contract_info: what is deployed on an account, read live from RPC - get_recent_changes: what changed in the last N days - get_discussion: a gov.near.org thread in full, by number or URL For everyone: - get_network_state: NEAR price, market cap, supply, block height and stake, live - get_validators: the validator set live from RPC: stake, share, work done, kickouts; one pool's fee and vote - list_blog_posts, get_blog_post: the near.org and near.ai blogs, newest first, in full - list_videos: the newest NEAR Protocol, NEAR DevHub and NEAR AI videos Add it: claude mcp add --transport http nearpedia https://near-pedia.xyz/mcp ## REST API https://near-pedia.xyz/api/v1 (no auth).
