Overview of Meta Pool Activities in South Africa

This report outlines my efforts to increase awareness and participation in the Meta Pool ecosystem within the South Africa market. Through a combination of digital and in-person strategies, I have focused on educating the community about Meta Pool’s offerings, fostering engagement, and driving adoption.

Key Activities

• Digital Outreach:

• Social Media: Leveraged Twitter (X) to share updates, engage with the community, and host informative Spaces sessions. Key topics included mpDAO grants, The future of staking with Meta Pool, and liquidity pools.

• Content Creation: Published 4 threads on Twitter (X) to provide in-depth information about Meta Pool, including the success of mpDAO Grants 7, the launch of Grants 8, and the mechanics of the liquidity pool.
I also wrote a blog post about the weekly Recap

• Community Engagement:

• IRL Meetup: Attended a physical gathering in Nigeria to introduce Meta Pool to a wider audience, generating interest and driving attendance to online events.

• mpDAO Grants: Actively promoted the grants program, providing guidance to potential applicants and sharing success stories.

• Results and Impact

These activities have contributed to increased awareness of Meta Pool within the South African community. The successful execution of mpDAO Grants 7 and the anticipation for Grants 8 indicate growing interest and participation. Furthermore, the IRL meetup demonstrated strong local demand for Web3 education and opportunities.
