How often should a project security audit be done?

In your opinion, how often should this be done?

It can be done as often as possible as long as there’s a goal for doing it everytime it is done.

Audit should be done as often as required, I don’t think there should be a particular time frame for project audit. But if there should be, I’ll say it should be 6 months.
