Develop smart contracts with the Near protocol by students of the Tecnológico de Tlaxiaco

My name is José Alfredo Román Cruz, professor of the Computer Systems Engineering career at the Technological Institute of Tlaxiaco in Oaxaca, Mexico, I teach the subject of Software Engineering, with the students of the same, with the objective of learning and developing software with Web 3.0 technology of the Near protocol.

Students in times of pandemic, their challenge is twofold, they are learning in a hybrid educational model since February 8, 2022, they are present in the classroom and online, Internet connectivity has a poor service, even so they are willing to learning new technology such as Web 3.0, most of the students are from indigenous communities in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca.

In this project it is that in the end the students develop smart contracts with the Near protocol for their final semester project, the students will apply the tools for its implementation such as Ubuntu, Node Js and Near Cli among others.

Students will use Web Assembly as a programming language to implement contracts and compile them to perform operations and transactions for their system to be developed in the future.

Students will learn to manage information of a system to be developed in the Blockchain of the Near protocol in order to meet the functional requirements of a system proposed by themselves, they are integrated into development teams, with a project leader to motivate their development team. to comply with academic activities to self-organize with eduscrum.

To establish that a system or an intelligent contract works correctly, students will design tests in their contracts (test case) to ensure that the management of the information in the contract is adequate and to be able to continue the development of the application in another stage.
