1.5 million NEAR tokens delegated to Meta Pool and distributed to 98 validator nodes

Hello everyone, my name is Claudio co-founder of Meta Pool. I wanted to drop by and share with the NEAR community that Proximity Labs has delegated 1.5 million NEAR tokens into our liquid staking platform.

This is a very important milestone for us, because it sends a clear signal that the NEAR ecosystem is supporting our platform in order to increase the security and censorship resistance of the network.

Helping new validators get exposure to NEAR
One of the benefits the delegation brings to the NEAR Protocol network is that 98 validators nodes are getting NEAR from those 1.5 million NEAR tokens that have been delegated by Proximity Labs.

This will help our protocol improve it’s Nakamoto coefficient, which will help our ecosystem run on a more secure network of validator nodes.

The Meta Pool would like to thank the NEAR Grants team for their support and vote of confidence that this delegation will bring value to the network.
