[Report] DiR fellowship - Progress of NEAR in Arabic, and supporting NU community. January 2022

Project title: NEAR in Arabic

One-liner: Development of a platform that serves as an entry point for Arabic speaking community.

Project Summary: A new project targets educating developers who speak Arabic language to build DApps on NEAR. The main goals are to build courses, articles, communities, and projects for the Arabic-speaking world.

The following items are the results obtained for the team:

• nearinarabic.com is up and running. More content coming soon.
• Meeting with Arabcapmarket and looking into further collaborations.
• Developing NEAR in Arabic visual identity (Colors, Logos, UI/UX).
• Publishing Arabic videos, and articles on both the youtube channel and the website.
• near-by-example.com is a platform that serves as an introduction to NEAR with simple examples developed by the NEAR in Arabic Team.
• Adding more content and materials to near-by-example.com

Other works:

• Supporting the NU community.
• Researching and working on sputnikDAO2.
• Meeting with other NEAR community members to learn more about AstroDAO.
• Learned more about Rust and worked on building a CRUD DApp using Rust on NEAR.
