strategy at BSA Ai and um am I the only one that thinks it's freezing here dude seriously uh first time in Thailand I think I gotta get used to this but yeah so today I don't want to talk about the weather or anything else I want to talk a bit about beta uh our Approach at building agents and how we're powering decentralized intelligence and uh yeah I recognize some faces from the mint based days um we're done a significant you know pivot from the nft days but a lot of that uh helped us achieve uh what we've achieved so far with beta and a lot of learnings um were done through onboarding people through nfds so short for like beta is uh an AI powered platform that simplifies blockchain interactions by enabling users to execute transactions on multiple chains using natural language prompts that's basically it right uh um and but why does this matter it matters because we want crypto to win right and at Mid to spend a lot of time figuring out like the onboarding um and uh you know to to for crypto to win we need onboard world right and um you know in retrospective I think mint base was very uh very much an onboarding company not so much a nft company and uh that gave us invaluable Insight uh on most of the user uh pain points in that we believe AI um helps us solve those those pain points also AI agents are definitely the future of the internet I think we all kind of agree uh on that and um they're pretty much redefining how we interact with digital resources from news consumption you know like can ask like summarize um you know these web pages this these new uh news articles and stuff like that to e-commerce that's uh that's coming um you know those sort of use cases are coming up and I generally draw the comparison to the early days of the internet um and you know because you know people interacted with web pages and that's um and and that was like the the standard to like consume and interact with digital resources um but with agents they're kind of becoming the new uh interface right so we ask what we want and they go out into world and try to figure out like how to how to solve that for you and just like we had like open protocols like DNS htps and others that help us uh you know that help the internet Thrive we kind of need the same thing for uh for AI agents in AI in general right and um so yeah so we don't end up with a monopolistic control and uh you know we we give like a fair chance for anyone to participate so yeah there's many layers to build uh to make this happen at beta we decided to build the decentralized agent Discovery protocol and uh Nate just announced that on on stage um two hours ago so essentially what is this um decentralized agent Discovery protocol let's dive in a little bit into what is the main the main goal the major goal is to go from like multimodality or you know like any input whether text images Voice whatever and build transactions that's kind of like what we want to achieve and we already have some of examples of that for example you can ask like uh Swap this amount of near for usdc and uh we can talk to multiple agents to fulfill that quest for you um and a few other other examples like this so it's highly composable you can like compose multiple agents to achieve uh different things and the goal of our protocol is to find that for you give you the best results find you the best agents and that's what we're building towards all right but what how does this look like so uh in first glance uh there are three main components that make this possible today we have clients you know like the beta wallet if you're not familiar check it out like wallet. b. uh and others like Bots and uh other soon very um other interfaces communicate with the runtime you know submit those the user requests through the runtime the runtime figures out the agents that um you know should pick up to uh to fulfill those requests and these open agents are self-hosted so we don't really control any of the Cod base it's up to the developers and I know there are some of you here didn't know how this works but essentially we never uh host any code so it's um that's why they're called open agents and I'm going to dive a little bit into that um in the next couple of slides um yeah so but this is kind of like how it works today the goal is to verify or you know to kind of validate whether the agents are operating correctly and whatever that means and that's why we extended this you know initial um you know the initial diagram you you you saw we added to more components you know you have the validators that will uh basically look into how agents operate based on whatever tasks that they're given and um see the results and rank them uh based on a couple of metrics so here we have speed price accuracy there's a few others and these might change uh for different types of agents and then we have delegators that could be uh you know your the agent Community or the agent developer will stake some tokens to give it a bit more uh trust or in case of you know the agent misbehaves uh it can get slashed and uh the use the user interacting with the agent never really loses um funds all right so um but how is these um AI agents uh defined so the you know like there's different approaches I I think our approach is quite simple um agents are essentially an API or you know like a server uh um and that exposes a couple of API endpoints and Mo and most importantly uh it needs to expose this manifest so it's kind of like open API um spec um standard you know that's a widely used standard in the internet these days um and we added an extension called xmb this is probably changing soon due to our pivot but it will be R retro compatible with uh with this one and this this manifest essentially includes things like the account ID um the assistant name tools it uses instruction set all of those things like U essentially we make apis we turn apis into agents uh and this is how it looks like so like we combined you open API manifest with your API routes through our agentic framework it becomes a smart API or an agent and when uh the prompts are submitted to our runtime uh in this case um I added this example um this is pretty possible today you can just go to the wallet and check it out you can ask swap 80% of my near to usdc uh if near price is below $5 and uh this breaks it down into a couple tasks so gets the user balance from uh the context then checks the near price on Co gecko goes to C calculate that with the python uh code Runner and then checks uh the swap estimate for for that um for the for the amount uh on ref Finance and ultimately gives the user a transaction UI so to submit in um to submit a transaction just a quick demo of how this looks like or at least the wallet and the agent uh directory you can find a few on playground those are not verified the ones that are verified show up in the first tab this is a couple screenshots you can see it works great on mobile thanks Marcelo and uh now we just shipped chain abstraction so um yeah all all all your new account can control um a couple of how many are they like five five uh evm um accounts and then uh the um the agent um directory and for the developers uh we are developing a tool called make agent and with four small like four uh quick steps you can get your agent live so the first one would be install the make agent if you don't want to install it globally on your machine you can use um npx or pnpx whatever your preferred uh package manager is and then um use make agent contract this tool essentially converts a contract address on year into uh executable code so like it turns your your contract on year on a nodejs API and then make agent Dev to run this locally and test against the wallet and lastly you can register your agent when uh when it's live with with the register command and that's it it's live so we still have 8 minutes let me try to um run main things here uh that I want to you to pay attention to this is um the AI Plugin or the EST I was just describing it's dynamically generated and then um yeah it's dynamically generated and you have the tool folder tools folder here where you want to develop these features for your AI agent so like the one I thought about and I think it's easy enough is redacted since we're at redacted this is a nextjs project so I'm going to create a route and since I'm lazy I'm going to ask Claud to generate it for me so create a get get Handler um that randomly picks different ways to say I don't know how to redacted redacted uh okay B interative let's see if this works okay whatever the one I tried at home was much nicer we'll just run with this one okay and then we're going to add it to our manifest so just going to add redacted rout to yeah it's fine so it generates the whole um spec is very very useful and now we're just going to run buev and the dev command so you can take a look it's just next Dev uh to run next and then make agent Dev P 3000 you can also remove the port 3000 which just shipped uh to uh for it to like determine which Port you're using and boom uh it's running here against the wallet and there there's a bunch of tools let's first get a Reddit post it's one of one of the other tools uh we developed before get me Reddit post my API got binged and it's now listing all of these different Reddit posts I think it's getting from the front page and if you want to get the redacted uh use redacted all right so we just got redacted try again okay it's just randomly picking up one of those uh from the list so um yeah these are these these were these are just like to show how the these things are built but we can take a look at other agents that we have in this list and growth mate the developers right here in front of me which is nice to see um maybe I can use growth ma actually let's see what can you do for me all right um sure my account is well you know
