goal and inspiration for this hackathon is to inspire everyone to use technology to solve some of humanity's biggest problem and we want to do that by creating one of the most fun tech events and the most inspiring experiences that students will ever have the banks could keep the public key but it's not actually important the only way and the reason why is because we kinda merkel so the main problem we wanted to address is the bias that you see in a lot of today's media a lot of people consume media from either CNN or Fox and other news sources that have different political biases based off the publication and so a lot of people today are actually unaware of where their media is coming from and what inherent biases lie within what they're reading what news they're ingesting and stuff like that and so we wanted to find a way to have some easy way for users to seek out these biases themselves and interpret based off the information they're getting ok is this something that's reliable is this support my worldview or something that challenges what I see yeah so how we did this we made a web app and Chrome extension that uses machine learning to classify based on an articles text whether or not it means to laughter to the riders at centrist since just 2005 the rate of serious depression in teens has increased by 33 percent every single 100 minutes our team kicks your own life depression and anxiety is a major problem and the solutions that we currently have are no longer working obviously so this is because they're outdated because every single generation is different because we are within a community to us who are struggling with these problems we believe that we can solve helped solve this problem and only people who are within a community where this is a problem can produce viable solutions and that is why we decided to try and tackle and he's helped solve this problem so we created a web app based on the NIR protocol blockchain system called here and this app is designed to help people form communities and meet other people who have maybe similar problems or have gone through these problems before so that it's easier to talk to them and that'll also help D stigmatize this entire thing as the digital footprint of the consumer grows more and more information and simply become insecure this is also going to be a trend that's realised as hacking technology gets more and more advanced credit scores will be just as important but encryption won't be up to date credit secured our program serves an incredible purpose we offer a way to optimize the power of the user and the security of the system using blockchain modernizing the discredits for once and for all now the solution that we came up with is this block chain and this block chain is is a private blockchain between days and each block contains transit down encrypted transaction industry now the addresses are based on people's name and social security number and so what battle and yes and the hashes at and so very secure now the way that the transaction history can be decrypted is with the private key that the user has the new wave a hackathon is for the students by the students
