showing up to nearest town hall uh really excited that these are now uh live um for everybody to get a glimpse into all of the awesome uh and exciting activities and updates happening in the near ecosystem uh we have an action-packed uh agenda today and some some great people uh here to present uh some updates and developments uh so I'm going to go ahead and kick things off and hand it over to Marik and Ilya to get things started great thank you so much Marcus for the intro great music indeed that was played before and you can find that on time ago which is actually a music platform built on there this is our first completely live town hall and we are back in I hope to actually continue have better lines of communication with the community so if you have feedback or if you have also topics that you want to hear about or see discussed please do reach out and so for everyone joining thank you so much for joining whether you're watching that actually live or whether you uh wherever you are in the world or whether you're watching that async we did a trial uh two weeks ago with a smaller group from the ecosystem which received great feedback and so definitely check out the slides if you want and the recording link which is put there we will also share after this uh the recording and the deck in the next one or two days on the blockchain operating system alpha.net.org if you're not already there you can definitely check it out so what's the intention Behind These Town Halls is to definitely enable more information sharing more celebrations and a platform for the ecosystem to exchange thoughts and ideas our goal here is to give more structured visibility on key projects within the ecosystem and you'll actually hear quite a lot of things that have been happening in the ecosystem where that Marcus will share and also to Pro to provide a more transparent view on progress from Key initiatives and help also understand you know key events announcements what's coming up and and where in the world some folks from near might actually build as always this is test and learn and so we look forward to your feedback whether you actually want to reach out directly to any of us or whether you actually want to post your comments on the blockchain operating system alpha.net.org if you haven't been there yet check it out so what's the agenda today uh Marcus mentioned it's quite a jam-packed agenda we might have been a little bit too ambitious let's see uh how we are doing we have a packed agenda today um so brief intro I'll recap the foundation's mission uh and uh actually strategically how we think uh at our from our perspective and at our level then we'll have a view on okrs uh shared by David Weinstein we will share ecosystem update and that's what Marcus will share near in the Press will be shared by Georgia where have we been and actually where is near uh when you look at the Press consensus is very soon coming up so yeah there I will share uh with you what's happening on that front the new digital Collective launched v0 what does that mean Blaze will actually talk to us about that devdao is a fantastic initiative continuously aiming at actually decentralizing and opening up participation for an open source community of developers and Maxwell share more about that the 15 minutes we have for Q a let's see if we make it to there given it took us 15 minutes to get online but let's have a try so moving on what is the foundation's mission the role of the foundation is to help support the ongoing growth and development of an autonomous and decentralized near ecosystem two key things here it means that we're not here forever and the other thing is also our goal is not to do everything for everyone even already today so for example you have very large nodes such as proximity which play a very important part in particular when it comes to for example anything related to defy so not everything is actually coming to the foundation and more importantly we want everything to be autonomous without the need of us to help um if we look at actually our convictions which are very important given the shape the size and well given actually the landscape in the market we're in uh a conviction number one is actually it's all about users and and therefore making sure that we can have active engaged users uh is what will drive long-term value for all of us the number two thing is actually that in terms of technology and advancement near is still very much ahead and if you need actually proof to that looking at the blockchain operating system and how things actually evolving on that front uh is a good pass forward in terms of scaling we've been able to demonstrate that we can actually scale and support tens of millions of users without a glitch and ultimately what we see as a big opportunity is continuously helping get more people into web 3 and helping make mainstream adoption happen by also driving the move from web 2 to web3 in terms of high level strategy how do we actually do that a strategic partnership which by the way are happening across the entire ecosystem right so uh it can be actually players like mean base or you know again proximity Pagoda or the foundation doing strategic partnership to help drive all mass actually uh users in terms of bottom up from a community perspective initiatives such as the new digital Collective and also the dials that are being built around that play a very important role to continue to help further decentralize and near Horizon is the accelerator what we observed in 2022 was actually just doing grant is not necessarily a pass forward for building sustainable businesses but having more hand-holding and therefore and access to resources is what's needed therefore near Horizon and more will be shared for near Horizon at consensus and ultimately everything links into what we call the blockchain operating system or the boss um and I guess with that that's pretty where Ilya I'm handing over to you because there is a lot of talk boss AI how does all of that link together hey everyone yeah so there's been a lot of excitement about AI obviously it was the recent advancements for I think some of you may know I've not just being in in Ai and kind of near has the roots in uh AI but also I am a co-author on the paper that uh pretty much introduced Transformers which is the technology that's powering all of the GPT and kind of image like stability um mid-journey Etc and so I've received a lot of questions both from folks kind of here in the ecosystem as well as more broadly what is uh kind of nears doing in AI space so I just published actually a um a long read on near social about this so uh go kind of check it out under my account on off of the data.org but just to kind of quickly mention a few things I mean there's one that's very obvious that's been live for a while which is crowdsourcing uh it's really important because as kind of this model's become more powerful we still need a lot of data to really tune them for specific tasks and problems to solve and blockchain provides a really powerful platform to kind of uh not just crowdsource data but actually figure out how to um balance like different uh hello different crowds right different uh uh aspects of like people in the world who providing this data and so the other really important piece that people kind of been raising is how do we govern the CI models uh it's definitely not possible to stop uh research and development of this and so instead we really need to focus on uh kind of creating this common alignment data sets that don't have like single company or single you know individual biases creating more public evaluation setups directing research funding and kind of in general having this discussion to be more traceable and attributable versus right now a lot of it is happening on Twitter where people just like kind of in the flame work um I think another really important use case that I just want to mention is kind of going back to some of the roots of near AI is really allowing to for anyone to describe what type of interface and experience they want and kind of getting the that build uh by these models and so kind of with gpd4 we actually see a lot of it's already happening uh like they can write code the code is pretty solid and given the blockchain being this like open API platform right that is really easy to build on top and we have the boss which is decentralized front end that you can like reuse components from uh like I'm expecting pretty quickly we'll have some uh approach where you can describe the interface you know like like build a swap with you know that shows current prices while I'm changing this and you know ads allows me to add the leverage uh when I'm swapping those tokens right and so it's like using the lending protocol underneath using swapping protocol underneath potentially using them from different blockchains and you know just pulling that into one experience for uh for the user and so really what this enables is new ways to interact with Computing because you now can actually describe your workflows uh even Beyond uh even beyond what like D5 you know example I mentioned but actually you know like business processes right houses flows through your company or through your organizations your dial and have a UI and kind of build around it right using dial components using the financial component using escrow using kind of all those pieces that are now living on a smart contract uh site and like the more components we have the more the easier it will be like to combine them for these models so I think that's that's really exciting obviously marketplaces and kind of just you know individual summarization Tech suggestion components are going to be available as well so check out leave comments you know we'll have your discussion there amazing thank you Ilya and Marik so digging into okrs so for the ecosystem uh the okrs that we have set out for 2023 uh is as follows so the north star that we are all shooting for is 10 million monthly active accounts Maas uh by the end of this year now breaking that into three categories of focus uh the first is is near is the blockchain operating system uh and the way we're measuring this is is moving more and more of our content and processes to uh Discovery or to to the boss uh migrating more and more of the community to the boss so the goal here for the year is to get 30 of the community uh onboarded and then also increasing our presence on Twitter to three million followers up from 1 million uh towards the end of last year and doubling our share of voice which is essentially a metric uh depicting how often near is mentioned compared to others uh within within crypto Twitter or within within the news the second major theme is around near becoming a thriving decentralized ecosystem and the way we're measuring this is is establishing the NDC which we'll we'll share more about today and and the three dials um as of now for for Grassroots efforts um with core contributors and the legal structure is all all set up in this in addition to that uh focusing on measuring NPS from the community which which we have been doing more and more uh and then also bringing in external Capital uh flowing into the ecosystem uh for all of the amazing projects that are being built uh on top of near and then the third category is is near is where web2 goes to become web3 and the primary uh measures here is is bringing in more and more uh big Partnerships um so we have you break them up into kind of tier one which is the landmark deals that make major headlines and and tier two deals all of which should be uh generating more and more monthly active accounts on on near and so we just finished q1 and so how did we do uh so for the North Star which I will get into um in a bit uh the goal was two million monthly active accounts we are just shy of of 1 million as of today which I'll expand on uh in a moment but outside of that uh there is a good amount of green that you'll see here so in terms of near is the blockchain operating system where we have been successful in q1 uh we launched alpha.neo.org that was launched at uh in Denver uh a few weeks ago and more to come there uh at consensus in terms of migrating more and more of the community over to it the goal was just 0.1 of the of the community uh we but we had 0.4 so a four x beat there um which is around just over six thousand uh uh accounts have been have been uh added to the boss in terms of Twitter the goal was 1.6 million followers and we hit that almost perfectly uh as of now we are 1.7 million and then uh to increase share a voice the goal was to have a 50 increase uh unfortunately that was roughly flat um since Q4 but uh to help this we are now focusing a ton on share of voice specifically we have way more granular data and analytics going into that and so we will see a vast Improvement there in Q2 in terms of near is a thriving decentralized ecosystem uh the first one was setting up the NDC in the three Dows um there's been a ton of progress there uh the last Dow to that's remaining is is the creative dial which is currently a work in progress but that will be online very very soon from the community uh the goal was 40 NPS uh we came in at 33 so just under uh our goal there and then so and then a couple additional ones uh near Horizon MVP is is done um and more more to come there at consensus and then the for external Capital the goal was 50 million uh and we uh had brought in 990 million so a big beat there and then the last category uh near is where web2 goes to become web3 um we had one the goal was three Landmark deals and six tier two deals and we we closed five Landmark deals and seven tier two deals and the way we're defining this in q1 was based off of closing the the deal um not all these deals have been announced just yet that is coming soon um and there's a lot more in the pipeline as well and then the last uh one here that's red is the 1.5 million monthly active accounts from Partnerships um we came in at 700 000 uh from Partnerships uh the reason for this Miss and we'll get more into this but uh most of the deals like I said have been closed but not all have been announced yet and and many have not even been launched yet on on mainnet that is coming soon coming towards the end of the year so all a lot of the efforts that we've been doing thus far with nvd specifically has been setting up the foundation for what's coming next um so a lot more to come here a lot more announced makes it a lot more uh launches will be coming soon and then the last thing I wanted to share if this works so we have built out and again this is very uh work in progress so it's in the in the in the ethos of test and learn but we have a new kind of way to show data publicly for for all of you called near Atlas it's a very short video showing what you can see now is you can cut by Maas can be new versus returning so you can kind of see how that is shaping over time and then we have a list of all the projects on near which you can go into and look at various metrics on a per project basis so here you start we're seeing weekly actives monthly actives retention rate daily active over monthly active to show stickiness new accounts versus returning accounts Etc so this is live on near atlas.com so check it out and we'll be showing more features uh added to this in in time oops and so with that Marcus over to you awesome thank you so much David um cool so yeah we've uh we've seen quite a bit of exciting things happening on here uh over the past several weeks um so I'd love to run through this all with you as I mentioned last time we I try my best to include everything but uh you know can only do so much in a limited time frame so I will do my best to get everything included uh throughout as we move on through uh Town Halls so I'm going to kick things off with some uh some Partnerships uh near has announced several exciting Partnerships in the past couple weeks um Hydra Ventures among these was the partnership with Hydra Ventures which is the world's first fund of funds uh investment now uh Hydro Ventures is incubated by thing three and also metacartel Ventures uh which is one of the most successful investment that was created and has incubated and made investments in several category leading projects like uh actually Infinity R weave uh wearable and we're also one of the First Investors in mint base uh Hydra Ventures is designed to help other investment Dows get off the ground and this partner it will open the doors to the eventual launch of the first investment Dow in the near ecosystem the next partnership that was recently announced was with Solaire uh it's the web 3 retail platform that merges physical and digital assets uh Solaire is building out key protocol infrastructure and apis on near that will allow Brands to engage customers with nfps and digital experiences in a seamless user-friendly way removing some of the typical web3 fiction friction points for example solaire's entire back end is fully Unchained and facilitates an easy to use web 2 interface with no wallet or crypto needed from shoppers and near has also entered a partnership with we made which is one of the largest publicly listed gaming companies in South Korea and has been a leading game developer in South Korea for over 20 years this partnership aims to play a large role in near's push towards mainstream adoption of web 3 and will entail initiatives such as co-hosting community events such as hackathons and boot camps which will aim to encourage developers and game designers to build on here Mutual brand awareness and collaboration on cross-train initiatives next I want to highlight some launches and Integrations that were announced over the past several weeks music Feast I want to highlight that everyone eats entertainment just recently launched music Beast which is a decentralized label and nft Marketplace on near uh with music piece the team is aiming to bridge the gap between the traditional music industry and web3 by utilizing uh High Caliber talent and simplifying the purchase project uh process for the end user by masking the current complexities uh for example there's a uh yeah on ramping with auto-generated non-custodial wallets uh the platform launched on Monday in line with near week AMA along with their Pioneer artists Ashley Banks and world-renowned Hip-Hop icon DJ wukid they are currently working with eight artists and more on the way artists will release six nfts per collection on a tiered system with each providing additional perks and benefits uh the main artist drop right now is grouped featuring Ashley Banks and between woo kid and classic which is another artist they're working with there's an estimated 1.3 million reachable fans and a lot of you may have recently seen the integration announcement with mailchain mailchain recently announced their integration with near protocol mailchain is a web 3 communication layer that allows developers to add secure and private communication to their dapps using the mailchain SDK and this is now possible in near dapps the mailchain protocol Works across multiple chains and naming services and now allows for DOT near addresses to email with.eth.lens.xyz Etc so incredibly exciting stuff and next I want to highlight the integration with coin Panda so just in time for tax season uh coin Panda recently announced its API integration with near coin Panda for those of you that don't use it is an easy to use crypto tax platform that supports defy nfts uh and over 800 Integrations and is also available in over 65 countries and I also want to highlight uh the team behind well done wallet well done studio built a plug-in that enables developers to create and deploy smart contracts on mirror with remix IDE the plugin is live and ready to use and Banyan hosted a workshop yesterday on the 4th of April where well done showcased a live demo this is extremely exciting as remix is the most popular integrated IDE on ethereum and this vastly expands the horizons for developers on beer next I want to get into some some project highlights you can move on to the next slide that was just the image of the remix ID integration um so presence presence is a blockchain powered ad server I think Google ads of web3 you can use presence to become an Advertiser and promote your product on popular web3 websites and daps to a specific target audience or you could also become a publisher and get rewarded for hosting web 3 ads on your platform uh presence also facilitates tracking the metrics and performance around these campaigns through a sleep dashboard and rewards are easily and instantly transferable to your wallet uh the platform launched in March so pretty recently they already have three Publishers and eight advertisers that they're working with uh with over 25 000 ads served so far and uh this is just a quick preview of the uh you know the Sleek user interface that they built to track the ad performance and reach and I next uh next up I want to highlight indexer XYZ slash the trade Court t uh the indexer XYZ team have been actively building on near for a little while now a lot of you may be familiar with them and they've certainly made an impact in the ecosystem uh index or XYZ is a powerful multi-chain nft indexing platform which multiple projects are built on top of including the team's cross chain nft Marketplace aggregator Tradeport uh indexer has served 80 plus clients including meteor wallet Dojo Finance decent land and anti-social Labs uh 90 uh over 90 of near nfts uh and Discord tools run on indexer um Tradeport uh 34 of trades on here are placed through Tradeport uh enft vertical uh you can trade across eight different near-market places on Tradeport uh with unique trading features such as both buying bulk transferring and bulk listing uh floor prices by trade and real-time listings and sale data and uh much more so it's an incredible platform and this is just a preview of the uh that was a preview of the Tradeport platform and then next I want to close this out by highlighting orderly network uh recently publicly announcing raising fresh funding at a flat token valuation of 200 million dollars which is really incredible uh in the current uh in the current landscape of things Georgia over to you near near in the Press fantastic we just want to go to the next slide I'm really delighted to be presenting this I'm they're not the slides aren't as slick as Marcus is Marcus next time we're going to have to work together on this but the numbers I believe speak for themselves so we've done a Roundup from q1 to Q3 and we had over 400 pieces of coverage globally we tried to break it down from two one to tier two um in terms of tier one pieces we had about 15 in total a lot of those names are probably very well known to everyone so the Bloomberg coin desk class company Forbes fortune and sifted the exception of sifted pretty much all of those were related to the boss which was by far our biggest story so far as it should be and that story will continue well into the next quarter at tier two we had about 34 pieces of coverage some people would argue that some of those names are actually tier one but just in terms of you know timing and what I assess to be tier tier two tier one I decided to put these into the tier two buckets so again a coin Telegraph is the big stand up to you we've got 10 pieces of great coverage from them uh business insiders seven Yahoo MSN the block also supported our news um what's also interesting is that the world is picking up our new story so the Big Challenge obviously is to not be too western-centric when it comes to us pitching to the media and that's gonna be quite difficult because I'm based in Western Europe a lot of the the titles that we're familiar with are based in in Europe and the us but we're trying very hard to spread the news about boss very much far and wide because if you look at the demographics a lot of the people that are going to benefit from this are in Emerging Markets um so I was really happy to see that we've had a lot of great average outside of the US and in Europe So Korea loves uh near got loads of coverage there um Japan as well coin post which is a tier one publication has covered our big stories China Vietnam and Africa as well to go into the next slide I did break this down by um sorry last March March as well because obviously Denver was some of our big news month um just to remind you some of the the stories that we announced there the boss um the cacao games announcement we made um did incredibly well for us um sort of the kalmara launch few and far another really important news piece that we did was International women's day we did a great campaign with coindesk and it was picked up by other Global outlets in March alone we had over 176 pieces of global coverage and um you know again very very big prominent names there the biggest impact stories I mentioned before was boss which garnered over 75 of the coverage for Q4 we really do want to continue to spread the message for boss so in addition to courting the the media that haven't quite yet uh managed to understand what we're doing even though we've had one-on-one briefings already with top tiers like uh Reuters like the ft and and those those big Publications we're going to try very hard to to go beyond Western Europe and really really reach out to the top tiers in emerging markets and also to the Nationals I find that we're engaging a lot more at the mainstream media now because of everything that's being written about Ai and now that we are discussing in public a lot more of the intersectionality between blockchain and I I think we have a really really good chance of piercing through the noise and getting some really big uh pieces of coverage for the next quarter so very very confident and just want to say so thank you to everyone for their support and and really helping us when you know the media comes to us last minute and asks for requests and you know it's it's hard getting media because there's just so many competitors out there but I think given where we were a year ago we're in a much better place and I think people know who we are now which is very exciting awesome thank you Georgia I think we're moving next to events with Yadira hello hello everyone thank you um let's jump to the next slide David all right so we're focusing on consensus today which is about 20 days away um the experience is going to first start at the airport with an auto home activation you'll see this follow the Green Path um in a lot of our messaging so as soon as you hit the ground running this is very much to draw your attention curiosity to the big near Booth we're going to have at the showroom floor so if you were at East Denver that Booth was about 400 square feet this is 1600 so four times the size and you're going to be quite large and broken out into a few sections which include boss because near is the boss Horizon which Marie and David have hinted at some special news the ecosystem showcase featuring a few of our spotlighted companies there projects there and then a section for BD meeting so you'll be able to connect with some of our Beauty members on the ground and moving on to April 28 faith you'll definitely get a lot of content from near Ilia will be on Main stage on the panel where they will be talking about devs doing something biddling in a bear market and later that afternoon we will have about 60 Minutes of programming so get ready for all of the boss news announcements everything the latest from near um Alex kiyoki Ilya Marie khasib and some of our other ecosystem projects will be spotlighted including Aurora so a lot to tune in there our friends at supermoon are bringing back a hacker house so if you want to if you want more information I think the applications might be open still I'm not quite sure there's a link in here for you to check out that's also on near.org consensus if you want to get more of that um and then on the 26th we have that near Horizon side event which is a pitch competition so we just secured our venue it's just going to be about a 19 minute walk from the Austin Convention Center without the 115 degree weather this year so there will be a lot to tune in there more information on that will be released early next week and last but not least please check out Grassroots efforts in the community and so Blaze or new digital Collective v0 what does it mean and why is that exciting great thank you so yeah for all those that don't know you can hit the next slide here but the NDC is a community-led movement to Biddle web3 gov on near so that's what we're working on as a community our first major Milestone went live which is a major accomplishment for the near ecosystem in the community and that's a community treasury so that's a special purpose trust that went live it's been feeded uh seated with 5.7 million near for the near Community to fund their Grassroots efforts that's going to happen primarily through these three Grassroots Styles creatives marketing and Dev and you'll find more about Dev Dow here in a little bit but that's really focused on funding projects work groups and communities each of those Dows has a funding limit cap a recommendation of 100K per month right now and for our v0 we have a total spend of 1.5 million USD what that means is that we got to focus now as a community getting V1 governance online which includes voting elected representatives and things of that nature to officially launch governance on the near ecosystem next slide so this is a picture for you so the Community Trust is live there's Community uh treasury trustees appointed from the community to oversee that treasury as well as an enforcer uh there so what they'll do in v0 is they'll deploy funds directly to the Grassroots Dows and those Grassroots Styles will then have their own funding processes that they work with the community on to approve uh you know whether it be bounties gigs grants things of that nature as well as the governance working group will receive some funding to also continue to bring that V1 governance online which is a lot planned for that so next slide what we're going to work on in Q2 delivery from a governance working group perspective is to really get v0 governance live so that's currently in process with those Grassroots Dows the other deliverable we have is to bring a human-based proof of humanity protocol online called I am human we debated that or tested that at East Denver and now we're getting ready to bring that back online uh this month for the community so the goal there is to onboard a thousand users the NDC is really organized around work groups and those work groups are solving our most challenging uh opportunities in the ecosystem about how do we actually decentralize how do we decentralize funding how do we handle governance so the idea is there that we have five new functional work groups at the end of v0 that would be ready to receive funding from the community treasury in addition to the Grassroots styles that are already there we'll bring on the V1 governance voting mechanism so we can actually vote and make decisions collectively as a ecosystem as a community and reputation and it's really a key part of what we're doing so we'll have an MVP coming online of kudos that'll allow the community to really celebrate one another and give accolades and you know really help us build more the community Dynamic we'll be launching NDC Gateway which will be another Gateway out there that'll be focused around governance and tooling processes and guides on governance as well as we're actively working on NDC bringing kyc AML transitioning that to the community so got a couple calls to action there join the movement on the NDC Community Hub they've dropped the link here in the chat if you're looking for Grassroots funding you can also go to the hub as well and then you can learn more about the NDC on medium and Twitter as well so thank you okay last but not least um let's hear about Dev Dow from Max hey everyone so many of you heard about all kind of things that devda has been doing and there is a lot to talk about definitely not going to fit into five minutes I'm actually gonna share the developer Dow strategy with the community uh soon and it's going to be 10 to 20 pages in there but uh to give you like a bit of a taste of the high level what we're doing this is a short presentation so uh our vision here is to basically uh be the developer community on here and as you know with many programming languages and open source communities there's frequently an entity behind them like with Russ there is some Rust foundation and and similar with other programming languages so think of that Dao in a similar way we are facilitating self-sufficient community of near developers and we not only maintain it but we wanted to grow so all of the values of the classic open source communities apply to us except we want to move it much much higher velocity than you would expect the typical open source Community to move at and I mean uh by maybe like seven times faster this is our intuition here so next slide so the one metric that we will use to hold ourselves accountable is the number of known incentivized monthly contribution developers and I think it's important to unpack each word here because that will actually give you an understanding on what we're targeting here so non-incent device is specifically means developers that are here because they either like the tag or they like the community and not because they're just waiting to be given money from some grants program and this is very critical because as you know in many blockchain ecosystem developer systems are pretty much just the grants program that you know feed into all kind of Dev shops and we definitely don't want to be like that we want to be way more on the side of the classic open source communities with a little bit of a stream of money to kind of make things move faster or incentivize some projects so monthly that actually implies here that we are sharing developers with other ecosystems so we don't have we don't just care about developers entirely dedicated to near we have already collaborations with echa systems like Cosmos like ecosystems like Mira and we want to have the same this share the same developers so that means that this month they might be active or near next month they might be active another blockchain and this is totally fine especially with this blockchain operating system Vision that we're building uh contributing means develop we care about developers who actually invest some of that time or effort into near right and I mean not just build or build code but also help other developers maybe answer some questions on a telegram channel that also counts but we don't count developers who just let's say post memes um in um in in some Channel or or like someone's post so this this doesn't count um yeah and finally we're all about developers right near is a complex Market there are creators there are users and developers and we care primarily about developers that actually defines the scope of our responsibilities next slide thank you so there's a lot of going on in in developer Dao and it will take me as I said like a very long time to break down all of the funnels that we have and all of the segments that we address in so hopefully this uh very convoluted diagram will give you a taste of like what kind of segments we're actually going after we do have to segment uh the near developer Community heavily because we have completely different treatments of a different group we differentiate experts in different Technologies from the leaders people who just step in and they run different initiatives newcomers uh that we also try to attract and we um also have a work for people who just understand near Tech on a kind of a like a very uh not expert level they can be the ones actually helping and social channels and we have a way to incentivize this too so that's a pretty detailed decomposition of the near developer ecosystem and for each of them we have more than one strategy of how we work with this specific segment and even for each segment we have different strategies for different parts of the funnel from awareness all the way to retention um but especially we focus on the retention part because the developer Dao we see is one of the main mechanisms for developers who come to let's say a near Discovery to actually stay around and do something because developer Dao is is all about the community and the community is what keeps people around so it's a it will be a very strong retention mechanism and already is next slide um yeah so what's the current status of developer now there are lots of moving pieces here the green uh diagrams show you things that are pretty much 100 working right now the yellow ones are that um currently in flight so we're doing something but it's not at full speed and the red ones is something that we haven't started really doing so they will start with Community groups and work groups this is something that we copied from the open source communities good thing is that we have people working in Pagoda who actually been actively participating in governance of big open source projects so we just directly learn from them how to build this stuff um then a developer Dow operations right this is the entity that I've been talking about that's like behind facilitating this whole thing we're halfway through there we have some stuff set up already and we're going to be finishing it up this quarter uh hopefully uh there are some conversations with sponsors that are going on and the goal here is to have multiple sponsors and actually have developer the operations go out and do the fundraising this is very common in the open source world where you have uh Topo I don't know five 10 people in your open source governance actually doing fundraising and Partnerships and negotiations and event planning and um it's entirely sufficient for the open source Community to just accomplish all of that and I mean Partnerships even with companies uh like Google and any kind of other Fan Company it's entirely possible for the open source Community to accomplish all of that with just minimal governance structure and maybe five to ten people at the top doing all that work strategic initiatives zero knowledge is our chosen a strategic initiative right now we are heavily helping this slice of the near ecosystem we haven't started um we just started actually advertising on what we're doing there I want to assure you there is already a large number of projects that are being built that actually positions near as a big player and the zero knowledge ecosystem and we're going to be much more loud about it in the months to come um so that is actually our deep Tech awareness pipeline that will make sure this is happening we have set up something there but there is a long long way to go there to actually create a channel that makes sure that big technical Feats and achievements by near have been broadcasted and explained to the ecosystem there are lots of other things that are currently being set up like events and local presence that it's a very big responsibility that has a lot of moving power that involves helping Regional hubs with all kind of things like how do they set up the meetups how do they run the hackathons how they attract local developers what kind of technical messaging do they have so this is currently being set up and finally the three blocks developer documentation social Channel support public repositories this is what I call the centralized devrel uh basically the idea here is to have Community sourced um way of maintaining and and improving documentation having people helping in Social channels and even managing the public repositories of which we have more than 200 actually today um yeah so a lot of things again are getting done there and I'm going to share a broader um surgery overview in the based account with with everyone next slide so next steps for us is that I said we have storage in budget and that's again what I'm going to share we're going to backfill decentralized the world unfortunately as I found out after doing a lot of research I don't think any blockchain is doing it right um many blockchains just uh hire more and more develop on staff to uh to fulfill this needs so they're not doing it in the centralized way it will take us time to figure out how to do it in decentralized way so meanwhile we're just going to backfill it uh with the community members who are basically going to be executing the role of the Deborah but they're going to be compensated through the developer dial uh we are bootstrapping this event's local presence pipeline that I've been talking about which is a very uh big responsibility together with deep Tech awareness and our goals for the Q2 would be focus on the Zero knowledge projects finalizing the setup of the operations legal structure and now we're getting to polish and everything we basically need to take to take everything that we have and make it move faster and better as much as we can and um yeah and become much more efficient at everything so next slide so that's yeah the final slide here um if you are asking yourself okay where was now you know where do I send developers
