Sorry, I've got this cat walking all around me. Okay. Uh, GM everybody. So, today is the second workshop for the Barcelona Ironclaw hackathon. Unfortunately, Julian uh is not with us today. Uh something came up on my schedule and then he has a workout class at that same time. In true French fashion, he never misses a workout class. So, he will not be here. But I uh we do have a recorded workshop for you guys today that he did already do. So, we'll go through that one and then uh yeah. So, let's go over this hackathon. So, the Barcelona Ironclaw Hackathon started June 12th. It goes until tomorrow. It will uh end in an in-person activation in Barcelona. Uh for this hackathon, we're building automated workflows and shipping ironclaw skills and tools. They have a partnership with 42 Barcelona, uh which is this really cool school. Um it's really exciting that they have been uh working with us here in Barcelona for this hackathon. Projects will be registered and submitted through Nova. The workshop today will actually discuss how that happens and then uh we're doing facilitation with Nearbuilders. He just keeps jumping around here, man. Um, okay. I just kind of wanted to preface this workshop and revisit something that we talked about in the first kickoff. And that is the difference between the hosted ironclaw and reborn uh version that's coming out. So v1 ironclaw on this date June 17th uh is on the hosted version. I think it's version 0.28. If you go to agent.net.ai, you can go through the flow and you can deploy this v1 ironclaw. Uh it works. It's it's all good. But I just want forewarning everybody that it's still young. It's being deprecated. Um if you experience some issues with it, don't uh don't necessarily expect them to be fixed in that particular version of it because there's a new version of it called Ironclaw Reborn. And you can access this directly through the Ironclaw repository. Build it locally uh and use it. And there's some steps at nearbuilders.org/ironclaw or you can also go to ironclaw.nearbuilders.org to set up and tunnel this binary into the hosted application. Um all this is experimental and we are working together to build reborn and ironclaw together. This is the first hackathon that we're doing with ironclaw with uh through Barcelona and we don't think it's going to be the last and so it's a big learning experience and I'm actually kind of really excited to see the progression of this as we do different uh hackathons which with with each city node. Just want to recap the timeline. So it kicked off on last Friday. We did a workshop on Monday. Uh today is the adding skills to your ironclaw agent and then tomorrow in Barcelona there will be demos, prizes, celebration uh doing the whole bringing the whole uh ironclaw hackathon to a close. Submission requirements. So submissions must include a title and description, the skills and tools that you use, a video demo, 3 to five minutes, publish it to YouTube or Loom or something, and then optionally provide a GitHub repo URL. There is a ironclaw skill to actually help facilitate this submission, which is what you're going to see in this demo today. And it prompts you for all this information directly. So it'll help guide you through. If you are just tuning in and thinking, what should I hack? What should I be building? Well, the goals of this hackathon are ironclaw use cases. So, things that your agent can do, some automations that you're identifying in your in your everyday life that you want an ironclaw agent to handle. So, you can actually browse some use cases here at hub.ironclaw.com. Um, when you make a use case, we're going to do a poll request open to IronHub and we're going to post this idea on your builders. We're also looking for tools and skills on IronHub. So, we uh provided a Google doc in the builder resources that had a bunch of recommended skills and tools that we would like to see built. Um, so you can integrate those directly into the binary uh yourself in ironclaw. And then we're also looking for uh partner integrations. We have some partners inside ecosystem that have provided their documentation and suggestions on what they would like to see built. Um, and if you can build a ironclaw workflow, publish it for these partners, you know, that's really encouraged. So, uh, rewards, I know that at the Barcelona tomorrow, there Julian's bringing just a little bit of merch. He's got some inkind. Um, there are no cash prizes, but, uh, we'll we're happy to provide blog post and amplification. There's also this near launchpad uh solution that we're exploring so that we can keep your project going. Um yeah, and I just kind of want to put a note there. This is all it's all really uh it's all really experimental. So expect this to maybe change as as time goes on. But at this moment um as everything is still young, this is this is what we're looking at. Projects will be evaluated on technical soundness, real world usefulness and the ecosystem contribution. And then if you need some support, there are two telegram support channels. One is ironclaw AI where you can give feedback about ironclaw and then one is near legion Barcelona which is for hackathon coordination. Okay, so that uh concludes our little recap. Let's get started on this workshop. So, I'm going to cue up a video that Julian recorded last week. Here we go. Hi guys, this is Julian and um today we will uh watch how you can add skills to your agent. This is the second uh workshop of the ironcloud hackathon organized uh with Neo Legend in partnership with the school 42 Barcelona coding school that's staying here. Um and so we have this hackathon um for which we'll celebrate um demonstrate our agents by June 18th in the compass of the coding school and um yeah on the first video we've seen how to set up an iron cloud. I don't know if you remember this, but we stopped at the point where you have an agent uh an iPhone cloud agent that is deployed in the near AI cloud cloud sorry through the um through the platform ihomecloud.com. So now I want you to take a look at the docs which are here. So if you click on docs from ironcloud.com you will see this page. Um fancy enough everything can be copied easily so you can add it to your LLM. And uh what I want to look at. So you see there is everything. You have a quick quick start section. Uh you have the onboard uh settings as well. And in the capabilities you have a global presentation of everything. But there are two things important. I want us to look at tools and skills because this is what we will do today. Essentially, there are two kinds of um ways that you can add capabilities to your IHON cloud agent. The first is W wasn't tools. um they they are they they are uh stored in the agent and so the LLM can uh use the tools to activate some actions. So at the difference with the skills, the skills which are simply like prompt extension that will tell your agents how to behave the tools. It's like a library or a package that you will install in your iPhone cloud. So it has more capabilities to act to do stuff like for example if you want to communicate with your agents through WhatsApp then you will install the WhatsApp tool because this is not something the LLM can do by itself. It's not something that you say in the chat hey uh send a message via WhatsApp and um the LLM does not have the somehow Yeah, the tool to leverage it. Um so what we will install today is the iron cloud hackathon skill because this skill at the same time as I'm teaching you how to add skills to your agent. This particular skill will be useful for for your competition uh because you will want your agent to be able to register and submit at the end of the hackathon for the judges to be able to look at what you built. This ironclar hackathon is built upon the Nova um not the Nova skill actually even though you could use that. It is built upon the Nova tool, the WASM tool. And so this is exactly what we will install first. We will install the the Nova tool so your agent can use Nova, the decentralized file sharing primitive uh for AI agent. Uh you can read more about this on this link u github.com/jcarboneta. It tells you how it works and why you should use it. Uh this is essentially an end to end encryption engine for AI agent. So well it go is based on near accounts. So it's valid for both humans and AI agents for uh data owner to encrypt and keep the access control on his data his files etc. So we will use it to submit uh the hackathon participation and uh yeah the ironcloud a hackathon skill is using the nova tool in the background. All right. Uh if you go there on the so everything is detailed in the docs. Uh but if you go there in the skills page, you will notice something else. You will notice that every skill needs an activation block. And this is something I missed at first uh because I was used to open cloud who somehow I believe is probably running skills um like this. But uh with ironcloud you need some sort of auto activation uh block. This part of the security enforcement with Ion cloud the agent does not run skills if you did not add uh a small code block uh to to tell the skill that can be activated and used by the agent. All right. Uh that's it. Um what we'll do now is installing yeah the Nova tool. And for this we will go to our terminal. Here we are. And uh so as you've seen I SSH through my agent to be there. Uh what I will do then is cd on the home agent but yeah I'm already onto it and then I will use this curl cool code sorry to fetch the release [cough and clears throat] what you have here is two files. This is how it works for tools. You need both the was in build and the capabilities uh JSON file. Both of them are served through the nova release here. Yeah. So these are the two files that you need actually and you call them uh with this girl call which um I will share in the tutorials. You just have to copy paste it. Then we want to check to be sure that they are here in the agent. they are now we'll install them. So with this command you will install the tool Nova submit already exist. Okay. Uh yeah I don't need to override this but for you it will stay something like installed. iPhone cloud tool list allows you to check that um yeah the nova submit tool is installed and it's activated. If you see in the caps I I believe is the shortcut for capabilities. Uh caps with a little uh validation mark means uh the capabilities are matched with the tool. The tool cannot work without the capabilities. the capabilities is like a a standardized description uh in a JSON format to um yeah to tell the to tell the the agent how to use this wasn't file. So be sure that you have a caps validated uh when you check your tool lists and then if you want more information about the particular tool Nova submit you will uh you will send ironcloud tool info nova submit what we can see here. Okay, we have the name, we have the path, the size, a hash, the capabilities is listed. So you have the pass to your capabilities file and oh no there is no there is no version um yeah okay version here but um yeah you could check uh somehow if we have the last version of the release I know that we do um and after you install the tool so you see it's pretty straightforward right and all tools that you might want to uh install you can do this usually with a simple uh girl code and then yeah you you have to ensure you have all files and it works fine. Um we will check later where you can find more ready to use tools and skills. But now what we will do is installing the ironcloud skill and I believe we already have this folder here. So I don't need to create it again. Maybe just maybe just check. Yeah, I check that my ironclar hackatan skill exists. Uh and I would run. So if you need to create if you need to create this uh folder, you first you create the folder with MKD and then you download. So likewise you will send a girl code to the ironclar hackatan skill which is exactly here. This one. Yes, ironclar hackatan. So in the skills folder skill folder you have the skill ready to use for the ion clar hackathon as you can see version 3.2 etc. So this is typically this is an MD file that the agent will read uh to somehow constrain its behaving. Right? So the skill is telling the agent what the agent needs to do. All right. Don't need to install it. Uh again I have it here. But so yeah on your side you will curl that um that skill to have it and then we check that everything is installed was a cat command. Uh yeah you can see that the skill is here. It's not truncated. Uh it has this auto activation header that you will find in the docs. All right. Good. What else then? Um, yeah. Now what we will do logically is to check just as we did for the tool, we will check that the skills are installed and indeed what you can see here cloud hackathon version 3.2 uh it's trusted is the official skill for the near legends ion cloud hackathons. If you want more info about that again specific call to info iron cloud hackathon. Yeah, it gives you the header. All good. Then to use the Nova tool, you need a Nova account. Um Nova is here. I can speak about that later. Okay. you need um you need to go on nova sdk.com. Uh this is where for now you create a Nova account and uh you can get an API key that you will then input as credentials into the Nova submit tool. So your agent know how to uh send data files to storage to the decentralized storage and retrieve it uh elsewhere. So well you have a few options here. If you click on login, you can connect uh you can connect a neo wallet or you can start with an email uh whichever email you can login with your Google account with your uh GitHub account. What I will do here just for showing you how it works. Okay. Um, login with email sends you to look for your one time passport. Welcome to Nova. I have the code here. And so, yeah, it will automatically connect. uh it's taking a few seconds cuz it's always checking the blockchain and uh recognizing like the keys etc. Um but so yeah essentially that's it. Um if it's your first time connecting to Nova you will be asked to choose a username and then the same you wait for a few seconds and uh your account is created and automatically connected. I could use uh well uh Nova to to chat and handle my um file storage. But what I want to do now is manage account there. You can send some more credit if you want to buy tokens uh for your Nova account. You don't need to do this now uh because actually every time you create an account, I'm sending you a 0.1 uh near credit. Uh it's not big but you can still uh do what you have to do meaning um meaning storing some files uh for the time of the hackathon. Uh it's it's all pretty cheap. It's always a few cents every time you you run an operation. So you may have enough credit. What you will do here is generating an API key attached to your account. you will uh copy this key. Be careful because um yeah, you won't see the key again. And uh so that's the one time opportunity to catch your key and then you will use this key um somewhere later. Okay. Now you created account nova, you collected your API key. Now what you can do is yeah chat with your agent and asking him to yeah my agent. So yeah just if you want to chat with your Asian I believe you remember this dashboard from the Asian.ai. This is where you see everything about uh your deployed agent uh in the NI cloud. And so if you want to simply chat with your agent um you click on open ion cloud and it opens this uh chat window. Okay, new chat. So yeah, uh what's good with the LLM interface is that you don't need to make complex stuff or or or type and buttons. So you just chat with your agent. And what I'm saying to my agent now is to register my agent for the hackathon. I'm giving a name um like agent ID is test um test two and my name is Julian and my Nova account is ironcloud uh hackathon.nova sdk.n near the skill is made to detect this kind of worlds like it doesn't have a ton of capabilities. You can register your event your your agent to the to the event and you can submit your final submission uh to the to the event. So it will not get confused. You just send this information plain text in your chat, right? Cool. Uh that's what we expected. Uh you are registered locally. Um there is no way so far for the agents to directly communicate with the judges. Uh I believe I could build this but uh for the moment it's a human transport. So you it gives you like a bill uh yeah that will you will copy paste and send to the telegram group. Everything is described here but so yeah this is the way you will sell uh you will you will tell the judges uh that you want to be registered for the hackathon and so they will provide you access to the submission group. So what I will do here is that um copying this message and going to the near legend Barcelona Telegram page and you send this message here. You paste it puff ION cloud hackathon registration participant name Julian agent ID test to Nova account Ihon cloud hackathon uh nova SDK. here and on my side as an admin what I will do is taking your account ID going in Nova and saying hey could you register I'm not connected with the good account though but um yeah imagine could you register this account to group can you add as a member. That's a better phrasing. Member of group. The group is I cloud hack cat 260 18. Yeah. Um yeah, that's what I will do to allow you to publish your submission to the hackathon group. All right. Uh one thing here. So yeah, we did that on the second step when you will have done your coding and everything and you want to submit your final submission, you have a second command to activate in the chat and you will do it with this um text kind of this Submit my final entry. Nova account is iPhone cloud uh hackathon Nova SDK. Near API key is ta you will add your API key here plain text and somehow that's not a good practice but it's good for demo. So you can see how the icon cloud behaves when you send credentials plain text in the prompt. It will tell you that you need to change this key immediately. That's my assumption. Uh title is my agent hackathon. Okay. Yeah. Give it a better name like I don't know Instagram agent. Let's say you are building something to automate your Instagram workflow description is all right. I'm going to do something like uh mist uh and very important because I will not uh get your code this way. when you submit when you submit your agent uh the agent is producing something uh in a standardized way and sending it to the judges. Uh there is no way for for me for the judges to see your code to see what's running in the background of uh your agent. What it does uh is that it will list all tools and all skills that you have uh installed in your agent. So I kind of have an ID of the capabilities of the agent you have been coding but I cannot directly uh like read the code. This is confidential. It stays on your instance. So I need a demo video. I need a demo video for you to show uh what you built. And so somehow yeah, you will record a five minute video, you will uh upload it to YouTube and then you give me a URL here and now you can submit. So see how it works. It's proposing me to approve the use of the Nova submit tool which I will do. No worries. Uhhuh. Oh yeah, of course. Okay. Sorry. I did that like this and it's stupid. It's not the good API key. All right. The API key is the one of my accounts which we will blur. Yes. So it's sometime dropping a horse. It's more like um when he's trying to do things there there is like an inline logic uh one step after the other and sometimes the agent is doing like uh the end step before the first step but then he finds his way. So don't worry about the intermediary error messages. What's important is the final answer. Here we are. Success. Your entry has been uploaded to this hackathon submission details. So here you have the here you have the IPFS set. Yeah, you cannot you cannot check it like this even with the full URL. Uh could you retrieve this? Of course. PFS. What was that again? I don't think so. I don't remember the the full URL. But anyways, it's just it's just a hash that will be stored uh online. Uh what you can check though is the near blocks. Uh so you can see that yeah, we just recorded the transaction. Ion cloud hackathon account. I recorded the transaction on the Nova SDK. contracts. If we look at this, that's what it looks like. Okay. I published this file hash in that iron cloud hackathon group. And the IPFS hash is this one. So then you will use the IPF has to decrypt uh to decrypt the information and that's what we will do now right uh transaction ID your submission inputs I have the demo video so the judges can watch what you are building and um Yeah. Okay. You see it tells me to rotate my uh Nova API key because I just send it in the in the prompt. Uh yeah, now it's judge time. I build the script. All right. I build this script here so I can collect all submissions in one call. Uh this will be useful for anyone else organizing ironcloud hackathons. That's it. Uh so I will run this scripts just have the command. Yeah. Yes. That's how you call uh that's how you run the script and uh how you you call um the content of the Nova group. What it does under the hood is that it's collecting yeah get group transaction. So it's calling Nova to collect all the transactions that has been recorded in this specific group. What it does first is uh collecting the session token and then it's collecting submissions one by one. It's decryptting the submission. So you can see I have three my tree testing and uh integrity. Okay. So the decryption is successful and indeed we can check that here you have the submission plain text which one is ours. This one this one is ours. So this is what I see on my side as a judge when you apply when you submit to the hackathon. I have a date of the submission. I have the Nova account who submitted it. I have the title. I have the description. I have the demo video. So I can directly watch your demo video and that's the plan for the 18th of June for the demo day. We will play this video at the school so everyone can watch what you built. Uh even though you might be a remote participant not being in Barcelona or not being able to join us for the party at the campus on Dday, we can still watch what you did. Uh yeah, that's it. The skills list is not directly uploaded. Um maybe we'll find a way to automate this. Um but otherwise, yeah, that's pretty much it. The video is the is the main submission content. Okay. Um you can organize or you can sorry install a skill, install a tool. Um, and yeah, I want to show you this, the iPhone Hub. It's an open marketplace for you to check which tools are already available. So, I very much encourage you to build your skills by yourself. Uh, during the hackathon, you have the time to really make your personal use case of ion cloud. But at the same time, if you don't want to reinvent the wheel, uh you also have a lot of skills available in the skill library. So, explore this first. I'm pretty sure we'll find things that will be useful for you and uh and then you simply need to you simply need to install the skills that you want. You follow up on the iPhone hub. All right, guys. And then also generating an API key when you submit I'm glad to see some questions coming in. We'll keep it on topic with the hackathon, but good questions nonetheless. You have to give uh an agent ID, a username, and then also your Nova ID which you'll get on the nova-SDK.com site. And then as you can see there he submits it calls the skill to register to the hackathon and then they've uh get registered and then there's an additional step to submit to the uh hackathon. So I I'll show the uh submission details once more, but you take these submission details, you go into your ironclaw dashboard, and you essentially say to submit your hackathon with these details, and the ironclaw agent will handle the rest. So we are at time. I'm going to go ahead and wrap this up. So here are these details on submission requirements. Just remember, so the uh the hackathon culminates in a in an IRL event in Barcelona tomorrow. We're expecting that the submissions to be in by then. All submissions should include a title, a description, the skills and tools that you used, a video demo that you published to YouTube or Loom or or elsewhere, and then submit it through the ironclaw skill directly in Ironclaw. If you take all these details, throw them in the chat box, um your ironclaw will handle the rest using the hackathon skill. Just once more, we're looking for Ironclaw use cases, tools, and skills for Ironhub and partner integrations.
