So one of them is this, is this society. So, so like there's a big part of which we which has nothing to do with centralization. The society is building, so, so that they don't think we will address in any way that needs to be addressed, collectively as humans. or other as every breakthrough happens, so far, historically, it inevitably becomes controlled by a small group of people who the moment they fully capture the market, they optimize for revenue, not for value. Right. And obviously, optimizing for revenue sometimes is aligned with optimizing for value, but not always right. An example I like using is that if social graph was a public good, we would have way more usages of it.","transcript_synced_at":"2026-11-03T05:46:48.736Z","segments":[{"start_seconds":0,"text":"like every breakthrough that happened, since like, advent of internet has been improving our lives, in some ways, but was also making it more","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=0s"},{"start_seconds":7,"text":"and more Black Mirror-ish like social networks, they sort of present two different aspects with.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=7s"},{"start_seconds":11,"text":"So one of them is this, is this society.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=11s"},{"start_seconds":14,"text":"So, so like there's a big part of which we which has nothing to do with centralization.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=14s"},{"start_seconds":17,"text":"The society is building, so, so that they don't think we will address in any way that needs to be addressed, collectively as humans.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=17s"},{"start_seconds":25,"text":"or other as every breakthrough happens, so far, historically, it inevitably becomes controlled by a small group of people who","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=25s"},{"start_seconds":32,"text":"the moment they fully capture the market, they optimize for revenue, not for value.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=32s"},{"start_seconds":38,"text":"Right.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=38s"},{"start_seconds":38,"text":"And obviously, optimizing for revenue sometimes is aligned with optimizing for value, but not always right.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=38s"},{"start_seconds":43,"text":"An example I like using is that if social graph was a public good, we would have way more usages of it.","url":"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y&t=43s"}],"youtube_url":"https://youtube.com/watch?v=TPxM9FI-O1Y","url":"https://near-pedia.xyz/videos/TPxM9FI-O1Y"}
