things Stick Wars and all things sharding I have the incredible born Wang who has had a protocol at Pagoda how are you doing born doing great how are you David I'm brilliant man thank you so much for asking look so we've seen a little bit of demand for the community about updates on sharding and what phase we're at how it's going a little bit about Stick Wars so let's start with stick was can you tell us a little bit about what it is yeah so stick horse is an incentivized testnet program uh that is supposed to attract uh new bar dealers to get the familiarized engineer know how to run a node and then a reward so that uh when the phase one of sharding actually goes live on magnet they would be able to receive enough delegation to actually become validators uh and it also is a good opportunity for um for us to better test the implementation of facial end of sharding so that we actually touched in which the community testing which diverse set of Auditors to make sure that it mimics the actual production environment brilliant so I might have saw a tweet today from you boy and that that gave us a hint as to when fears wanna shouting will actually go live on me and that can you give us that in yep uh yes I was I was actually just going to mention that uh it's very exciting that the may not release just went live a couple hours ago uh and then we're entering this uh process where our leaders uh would vote by adopting the new version and that is expected to finish um by September 28th uh so by then uh phase one of the starting should be fully live for me Brilliance is right around the corner incredible yeah um so what was the impact of state was then how did it go yeah it weren't actually much better than we had anticipated so I think we were expecting maybe like 300 participants but we ended up having close to 1500 uh so there's like a lot more time not done uh we had had expected uh there were uh essentially the number of visitors were maxed out on the on chardonnet network we set up specifically for state boards uh and there were like uh about about 20 different challenges that the organizers proposed um and although it's a great event brilliant I'm so glad to hear it went well so what so what is it about shotting that makes it matter so much yeah so starting is a way to scale uh blockchain and to to make it uh have very high uh throughput without compromising security uh and the nightly design which has been uh proposed a couple years ago uh is what what is unique to near and what makes near uh highly scalable and to be able to be ready for Mass adoption of the open web brilliant okay so it's September 28th phase one it's live oh man it's done what's next so phase one is actually uh the second phase of a four-phase plan uh to to launch a fully charged highly scalable system uh and we're going to execute on the next phase which is uh the phase two that's going to introduce challenges which would allow uh the blockchain to become a fully shorted Bush transaction processing and also State uh and that would uh be like really huge milestone for the entire nearly position as is where we will basically fully achieved the vision that we laid out in the white paper wow thank you so much Brian for that quick fire update I'm sure I am just as excited as everybody else for this infinite scalability which is on
