you want what you want what you want what you what you want what you want want oh want want you want want me what you want what you want what you want what want what you want want what you want what you want what you want what you want n system is all open and welcoming so you can go on GitHub and find all good first issues that are plenty of them and start taking also you can go to Dev Hub and find the fellowship program and all the details about it and if you have near experience and you are willing to onboard other developers please join the fellowship program to contribute to guide them if you are new to near but you still have a pretty good technical background find the leaders that appli on near Dev talk to them reach out to them ask for for guidance tell me what you want what you want what you want what you want hey hey you you want he me hey he so we believe to stop marketing start engaging that's what we're doing over at devhub is that now the focus is no longer just about let's sell you something on why near is the best developer experience which it is right we all know it that's that's why we're here but we want to actually start to engage you as a user and better understand what do you need and how do we help you be successful instead of us trying to put our product to you m m oh oh oh what you o what you want you want what you want what is like the ideal way you want users to come into the near blockchain ecosystem it always starts with some application right because like if you think of it as a user you probably don't care as much about like underlying infrastructure you want to start with a sweat coin some experience and then through that you're like oh this is interesting you figure out that actually like oh I can see my stuff there and I can use it there right so like you have things like Niche which is a community you have nfts but then the nfts show up in your wallet which you can use for example to get in into a event or get a ticket or something right like so you kind of have this like fluidity of motion and that's what web3 is this compatibility n system is all open and welcoming so you can go on GitHub and find all good first issues there are plenty of them and start takeing also you can go to devhub and find the fellowship program and all the details about it and if you have near experience and you are willing to onboard other developers please join the fellowship program to contribute to guide them if you are new to near but you still have a pretty good technical background find the leaders that applied on near the talk to them reach out to them ask for for guidance just on boarded 13 million new wallets what did you guys sell him on that made them so excited to actually go on here one was we had a very aligned Vision they're very like hey it's all about the users it's about un boarding them in the smoothest way right that was like the main thing I don't think anyone else in this space is actually putting any attention on that number two is the scale they are operating with like they've actually tried other blockchain and do not scale the that right we actually like at the call I made a smart contract for him and loaded up with their loads and showed it actually works right it wasn't like hey you need like a bunch of infrastructure side chains or whatever it's like it literally works right now and it's you know and we just continue optimizing making stuff better right and then third is like I showed him kind of our commitment to like as a ecosystem and then specifically a core team like that works on protocol to continue innovating on this right near is all about kind of continuous innovation you know in creation and so for me that commitment is all about like you know we're shipping new sh like new sharting phase like we continue doing that they're going to get their own shers things are expanding like this kind of stuff is like how you get like truly you know the scalability but also like you continue delivering on what people expect We Believe to stop marketing start engagement that's what we're doing over at devhub is that now the focus is no longer just about let's sell you something on why near is the best developer experience which it is right we all know it that's that's why we're here but we want to actually start to engage you as a user and better understand what do you need and how do we help you be successful instead of us trying to put our product to you he he hey hey W hey everyone all right we are back devhub live here on another Thursday um Mega episode we have today I am extraordinarily excited to have two amazing projects that are building on near that are homegrown that we can talk all about some deep development uh first up we're going to have is Jutsu uh they're GNA talk about building and Ai and all kinds of great stuff and then the second half we have keom uh coming on talking about their new ticketing but also just building and building on near and I think this is something that uh super exciting to really dig deep into because uh personally as a developer I've used keom over over the past year in my own project and to see where they've come and we can talk about that but first up I am super excited let's bring up uh Jutsu and we have zahed how are you I'm good thank you how are you I'm great I'm great thanks for joining uh this is I think a really exciting uh time for you guys I know you guys are doing a lot of great stuff uh can you just kind of quickly give like a quick overview of like what is Jutsu so I want to say Jutsu is the fastest way to build web3 apps without any local configuration so and we do it by providing a webbased IDE and generative AI to kind of a generate 50 to 60% of the codee so that as a developer you focus on the fun stuff not the boring stuff right nice nice so you guys uh you started building your product to focus on originally you know building components on the boss is that correct yes how has that been and and where you are where are you today with everything so the primary goal was to um kind of always same so how can we make it super easy for Builders to build deploy quickly so that's was that was the goal from the since the beginning so we started with boss because that was the kind of the problem in that moment so now we are uh gradually um moving towards kind of a supporing full stack like um smart contract and extending from frend to uh support a no code tool where you can kind of from prompt uh we will generate the entire web web page based on just your prompt uh and in the future we also want to support uh not only just boss but also react or view any other uh frontend Library you want to use for your uh front for your web three apps your mute sorry about that there you go that's the beauty of live uh so can we uh can we show JSU real quick and can we kind of like walk through so people can see like what actually is the app sure yeah absolutely I am trying to see how I can share my screen here uh present okay uh present share screen uh okay Enter screen do you see my screen yes okay beautiful so if you want to get a overview of Jutsu so you can go to uh Jutsu AI uh but if you want to start building boss component or or anything really so you can go to uh our webbase IDE and those of you who don't know know um Jutsu so it's a webbased IDE where you can create boss component and boss is a subset of react uh that you can deploy directly on chain so you can um now there there is a new renaming where uh it will be called react on chain so regardless whatever you call so basically you can uh create and deploy a react component on chain uh and in our IDE it's everything is kind of real time so you can see real time update uh whenever you change anything and it is super important because uh uh I'm a big believer of developer experience and kind of a uh kind of easy win so you can see you can come in and you can build a component and immediately you can deploy connect your wallet and deploy so you don't need to install local environment but I understand like there are experienced developer who want to also use uh boss loader or lot of local uh CLI and other environment so for them also we recently launch a GitHub support where you can if you are in a scenario where you are working with other other teammates um let's say in dehub probably someone is using uh local environment and you want to use uh Jutsu from the web app then you you can basically import any um of your J uh boss related project so in this case this is from I think this project is from uh build out so you can see this is a uh this is a typical example of of a uh uh project that run locally uh but in this case from now on you can basically use um you can contribute to um regardless whatever tools they use so you can see like uh you get a instant preview and then you can you can update and you can push it back to GitHub so I think that that was one of the request from a lot of people and also it is it become really important when you are in a hackathon scenario where your final submission you are not going to submit your onchain component maybe you need to submit those component in a GitHub so that's a GitHub integration that we did recently um and you probably if you already know about Jutsu you can um go search apps and components so this is um kind of a it will be a little bit faster but like um it's it's the easiest way way to um kind of find anything you want to kind of a let's say you are exploring you want to build a um a defi app maybe then you'll check how other people are building and then you you can just click fork and then you get a copy of that uh that component and then you can start updating your component the other feature that uh kind of separate Jutsu from any other the local or other tool is collaboration live collaboration so with live collaboration uh if you are working in a team in a hackathon or in your company you can work on same component collaboratively so it's more like a Google doc style realtime collaboration feature very cool very cool the now uh when we talk with a lot of people there are people who are not necessarily developer right so uh for them we created a uh kind of prompt based UI generator where uh you can create an entire uh frontend just using prompt or you can just upload a uh a screenshot um so one of the example is uh this is a coin tracker so you can see this uh this is using the coin gecko API and then uh pulling this uh data and it was just written using one prompt uh and then this is a uh like this is a UI so how many time uh as a developer we build log user interface right now you don't have to write again you can just take a screenshot so this is taken from verel and then you can just um to there the last thing I want to show is still under development it's not yet live Beno uh Jutsu app dojutsu and Beno you can try today Beno dojutsu AI but we are taking this UI development experience into the next level uh using more like a a traditional um kind of a um more as simple as like a um square space or Wix sure yeah so where where you can kind of change anything and then you will be able to kind of prompt it prompt the AI to kind of change the color change everything and then when you push deploy you will be able to deploy in um not only you will be able to deploy in in as a react onchain component as well as uh um versel or S3 bucket um so by default we have a like whenever you create something already deployed uh uh and then you can imagine like you can share it with anyone so kind of a making it taking it to the level where you can build a really goodlook apps or website or contract in in in in an hour not like days or months right no that's wow that that's really awesome so now this and this still fully interacts with like a near smart contract all that so the first phase is like a deploy on CH so the idea is like this is more geared towards um the the architecture in such a way that like these are the different kind of a templating mechanism then there will be some some of them will be more application specific let's say um all the defi app or nft Marketplace then it will it will interact with with contract very cool very cool no that's that's awesome let me I W to pull back a little bit here and talk a little bit about just like your experience building a tool like this you know so I you know developers we sometimes take for granted like all this awesome tooling it has to come from somewhere right so you as a toolmaker but also as a as a developer like what are some of the challenges that really go into actually building something like this I think there are two uh kind of a two groups so as a toolmaker is it's kind of a difficult to know what kind of experience people want and then one of the challenge there is so uh developer are not like a monolith right so they are a spectrum so there are people who are hardcore like to uh do any everything in in CLI and to up to a point where there are people who don't want to write any code but more drag and drop so can building a tool that kind of a in the in the middle is kind of the challenging uh but it's it's a fun challenge um so uh the way we like to do is more like interact with developer and kind of a building a tool with them so that's one Challenge and another challenge is there are so many different um protocol and so many different smart contract language so um when we kind of um make it more Universal than the developer building a developer experience that kind of different groups or segment of people or developer love is like a really challenging part um so how do you that's that's a great point I so how do you start to make those like decisions around like who is your customer like how are you Serv some of that because I'm sure you can't build everything right so you got to start making decisions yeah so I think like a um at Jutsu we are trying to solve two problem so one is for developer we are trying to make it really easy for anyone to learn build deploy and monetize their work and for protocol their challenge is onboarding and retention so we help them with easy onboarding and and retention and kind of a easy way of interacting with with developers so right now even I don't know about um uh devhub but like there are other ecosystem that I talked there are not a lot of visibility uh from the protocal side about how many people are building what kind of things they are building what are the similar kind of developer we might on board so one of the uh one of the great thing about Jutsu where we know what kind of things people will contribute what kind of things people will love if we can build like a a better algorithm to kind of help people to hey you know these skills maybe this is a protocol you can try or you know you have this and this skill and you build this three apps there is a bounty for this uh this project so in the future we'll be able to kind of a help these two group so I I I believe like we have kind of a uh two segment of user that we kind of support developer and protocol yeah no that that I mean that makes makes a ton of sense for you guys going forward so one of the other the challenges must be here too is like like as a tool there probably needs to be a point where you have to also decide like where is this a business versus where this is just like you you know uh public good infrastructure whatever that is how are you guys I think because this is I and I I don't need you to go into like numbers that but I think just as a developers people who are building products we don't we sometimes forget this we get so excited to build the thing and then you really oh yeah I have to pay people I have my own bills like how are you guys starting to approach what this looks like yeah so I'll be honest so building a developer tool is already challenging and it become more challenging in web 3 because the uh and in a specific protocol because it's the niche is it's a very small Niche so the way we are approaching is I mentioned about two groups um so we are going to kind of a charge protocol to kind of use our tool to give them much better uh insight about developers and uh I I showed you uh different AI gener like a code generation and kind of a I believe if we can make developer kind of a 10x better than um we have a subscription plan that we will launch in in few months so that's another way of kind of a monetization uh but the way I believe is it's like a I I want to make a ecosystem where it's not zero some game where someone have to uh kind of a make like a win for other people to lose like we are working on on some uh kind of a early kind of a idea where can we build a circular economy around around this platform so imagine like um you are you are a builder you are building a components or you are writing a smart contract if other people Fork it then uh right now everything is public right so but I believe like I I showed you also the template like imagine if someone built a great template that other people can use so that's where we will kind of a gradually create a marketplace where people can uh kind of U buy or or sell components and also Cate components so that's that's a Marketplace that we want to create in the future yeah but right now I would say like one of the primary goal is to bring Moree developer into web 3 ecosystem because in web 3 uh I talk about this metrics probably many many time is web two have 28 million developer and where web 3 have like less than or maybe if we are generous it will be a 100,000 developer being generous yeah that's being generous yeah yeah yeah sure yeah yeah that that's interesting I mean look one of the things that I really appreciate what you guys are trying to do is I I think it's easy to either be stagnant and just saying listen we provided this tool and you know and try to move to the next thing but it sounds like you go have other interests especially around like Ai and things like that you found this model where you're able to kind of keep these two paths is that right like where you know it's not it's easy to stay interested in what you're building because you're kind of pushing the boundaries on other parts besides just the web three piece yeah I think like um our like my vision is to bring a million developer in web 3 and the mission is to to make it as simple as possible for developer to bring those in into the into web 3 so that's why we use all different approach and um from the better uh developer experience to kind of a using Ai and right now with with the kind of the advancement of uh generative AI we already uh like we have seen how much generative AI can make you efficient and like a uh I believe in the future as a developer we will do less and less writing code um and more and more collaborate with AI so that's why I uh like you you you will you probably notice like we are doing a lot of work on kind of a building co-pilot and experience where you are kind of collaborating with AI so I think future is going that direction where I don't believe like the fool Will offload everything to AI I believe in a future where uh human will be still in the loop where human will be the judge or the curator of and the AI will do 60 70% of the work so that's why we are kind of building a platform where um AI will be a core piece and then uh this collaboration between human to human human to AI so that's the JSU platform in the future interesting I want to talk a little bit about kind what you just said there too like because you are a developer yourself right so you're not just the product owner you you started as an you're an actual developer your handson when when you see these things and like I'm certainly I use AI a lot now to to as a supplement to my work but I think the point you just said there was like you know it becomes like this other tool right this becomes this like other thing at what point you know and I've been asking a few people this question is I like at what point though do we start to have some kind of missing piece where maybe it's a a younger generation that's coming up that now gets too reliant on AI like where does where do you start seeing that and and again this is speculation but just like where do you start to see some of this stuff going I think uh there are kind of a two two things here one is more like a uh scientific another is more emotional so uh from the emotional side like we are still like a as a human uh are difficult like it's for me and you and most people uh but imagine like there was a time when um like people so I'm originally from Bangladesh like where most people walk everywhere right so like uh but then you have when I'm in us like I don't want to work like even even go to a grocery store you you need a car right so and people get used to it so now you cannot even uh like a tell people to walk but now there is a movement where people are asking hey walking is good for you walking is good for health so the reason I'm saying giving this analogy is like a the with the AI it will be similar so people will start using AI for code generation and it will do like a great work for let's say 60 70 80 90% of the time and then the 10% like you will still need people who know stuff and who who can go and fix AI related uh kind of code the challenge now the scientific part so now all the AI tool are trained on human code right and and a human is labeling those data like okay this is the code for this this is the code for that and then com um like a and then a neural network is kind of a finding those pattern kind of giving you the code but IM in like a five years 10 years from now when all this AI will be trained on a synthetic data so synthetic data is like a machine generated data and then now imagine like a what will happen what kind of output we will get from those synthetic data right that's to be seen uh so far there are other field like computer vision where synthetic data is still creating a lot of values imagine like a you are building a uh object detection system from satellite images you don't have like every week you get one picture of of of of a part of the world so you don't have of images so then those kind of scenarios synthetic data becoming like a really valuable so for coding it's more High stack especially in web 3 it's it's very uh like a security is really important so so yeah um one simple vulnerability can like it can your protocol can lose millions and millions of dollars so I think it will be still human in the loop right but you will see a lot of like car and everything a lot of people will jump in and there will be new people who will not spend time to learn smart contract and just use a right yeah yeah then they will have a problem they will become obes and then then doctor will say like oh you should probably now work so go back and learn solidity or rust right I think yeah I think new developer I will still if you any new developer I will still encourage to if I learn the syntax learn some at least build few smart smart contract and front end manually even when I learn so one of the secret the way I like to learn let's say I want to learn a new framework like react so one approach is okay I can go and example and I can I can build those things the other is like a I dig more deeper and try to figure out how react framework work can I make a framework like react very smaller version of mine so that's how I learn more so my recommendation will be still please go and learn the basic there is no AI is not going to save you from the basic for sure yeah yeah great about yeah I think that that's spot on spot on uh I know you need to run uh but as we wrap up here any last bit that you know obviously want people to go check out JSU you know try the different tools uh anything else you'd like to share with everyone yeah yeah so um we are going to work on we are going to launch the uh the Bento the the newer version at the end of this month or or pretty soon and then start supporting um kind of smart contract so follow us but if you are in Austin so those of you who are going to be consensus uh we are hosting a branch for for hackers nice so um so in I think I believe it's 28th I I'll share more detail but like if you're in uh hacking in consensus and then want to meet with other hackers so uh we are partnering with uh build out and kind of a uh going to host branch on T awesome awesome that should be great uh really great stuff well I I really appreciate your time coming on today uh definitely love to have you back talk more AI especially as you start to launch more stuff uh really appreciate everything you're doing in the ecosystem and also for developers in general uh so I can thank you enough for uh sharing this with us today uh and hope to see you back here soon I like your work also uh thank you for great work and kind of a keep building this community and managing this community thank you I appreciate that all right take care now bye all right that was great folks uh I'm I hope you learned something uh I really encourage you to go and check out judu uh especially if you're like me and I hate front-end development uh I am much more comfortable working on Smart contracts and the back end and apis so a tools like this is really awesome uh they're really leveraging the AI in a uh interesting way that it feels more natural uh he gave the example of Squarespace if you've never tried Squarespace before it's more of like a drag and drop type type of setup so I'm really excited to see what that starts to look like uh o over time and again anything that's going to improve productivity you know the biggest thing that we all as developers are terrible L is time management and figuring out like you know how long is something going to take can I fit all this in and anything that's going to help speed that up but do it in a way that looks good that uh works correctly I think is a major win so uh I think that that's exciting so please go I check them out and follow along so next up uh I said before this is the Mega episode uh first time we're having uh two separate projects coming on uh the next one here is keom keom has been around for a while uh so my side project you know Shard doog is originally we we started leveraging uh keom we still use it today uh they are doing some really cool stuff not just in you know making drops which is kind of how it started where you could do like a link drop uh it's really expanded they have a new ticketing platform but they're going to come on and talk about all this different stuff and they are deep Builders they are developers uh this is a a a super team here and we have a few of the guys coming on uh for this so let's bring up uh Ben and Min from H keepon hey guys thanks joining today how you doing it's been a while yeah no we we haven't had a chance to talk I know you guys have been you know deep in you know school and work and everything else and uh I am super excited to talk about what you guys been working on yeah man it's uh it's it's been uh it's been a crazy couple of months I've never used this platform by the way this is super neat um The Branding the like names and stuff this is super cool uh but yeah thank you so much for uh for having us um you know just a very brief kind of uh intro is to you know myself and men so um you know I we we started keom uh a while ago it must have been two years ago um as a as a real push to kind of inform the general Community about sort of account abstraction and kind of like what you can do on near versus other chains cuz at the time there really wasn't that many projects that were kind of utilizing these these access keys and this account model in a way that um kind of shined and showed why you should build on near and uh sort of Matt lock and I um kind of started that um to show you know the world what you can do uh and then over time Min uh is one of my childhood best friends um we went to high school together went to University together lived together um and he was super interested in in uh sort of web three and what we were doing so we brought him on and uh he is one of the hardest working people I know uh so my name's Ben this is min and uh we're the key pom team awesome awesome yeah I I I think you know you guys definitely are one of the first projects that really started to highlight the power of like near account abstraction in the key model that was just people knew were was there but like nobody really understood and I think I even said one time to you when we were talking over the time of like you know I had been in the ecosystem for a couple of years and I still was learning of like how did I not know this about the account model and and the keys and everything else and you guys have really been driving that and I still think to this day you're probably doing some of the most Innovative stuff still in this area um and so I think that's really exciting to see now you guys are really turning it into a product yeah you know that was definitely one of the problems that we had for a long time um was you know what is keom how do I explain it what's my like oneliner for for what it is right it it was dropping nft on boarding try like accounts maybe some ticketing like some credit card stuff that you could use access keys for it was just a whole mess right um it was a good mess right it was very much like an R R&D project where we were kind of like pushing the limits but it was one of those things where every single day when we were developing we would kind of think of a new idea think of another sort of use case that you could use ticketing for and we were tweeting about it letting people know about it right it was really this kind of like marketing push for near as a whole right um and then finally after a long time we kind of sat down and like okay we need to hone in on one thing right we need to really push limits and and and you know what what is that going to be right and and after a while uh it really turned into a no-brainer um and that was ticketing right so um there's a lot of titing platforms out there right uh and they all have their Pros they all have their cons um and most of them are focused on like NFD ticketing and there's a ton of benefits with NFD ticketing don't get me wrong like you you literally programmed your ticket and it can have royalties it can have sale conditions like scalper prevention you know you can make them non-transferable you can make them sellable for you know all these different tokens and stuff you can there's a whole bunch of stuff you you can program your ticket right it's great but there's one drawback uh and it's a big drawback and that drawback is uh in order to get into the event uh the attendee needs to sign a transaction because they own the nft and so they need a wallet that has the nft in it and they need to sign a transaction themselves on their phone in order to like get into the event to mark that nft is like um scanned right and that's a that's a big uh that's a big barrier to entry um and so um with the ticketing stuff that that we're doing not to get too complicated to In The Weeds is again using this sort of kind of abstraction uh link drop stuff that we had sort of um kind of put together through our through our sort of forming years right and so the tickets that we have are still nfts but they're limited access key nfts right so they don't belong to a single account they actually belong to an access key right uh and so the holder of that access key can use that access key to sign a transaction so rather than you needing a wallet or needing an account or anything like that all you need is the key right if you have the key what's really interesting is you don't need Wi-Fi at the event because if uh your ticket QR code is the secret key then the scanners can suck up that secret key and then transact on your behalf and you don't uh the the the reason why that works and you can't do that with your regular accounts is you don't want to um all the nft contracts today and all the sort of Standards all have like one yako near requirements for transferring nfts so if you were to you wouldn't be able to transfer the nft um with a limited access key on your account because the contracts don't allow for it and yeah you could change the contracts but then you're kind of like doing some weird stuff there uh and also you need an account right uh and so there's the whole onboarding problem too but if you buy um if you buy a ticket and it's just a Seeker key then people can transact on your behalf and you don't need a wallet you don't need Wi-Fi right as long as the scanners have like a stable Wi-Fi connection then you're good right and so that's uh and then on on top of that you still get all the benefits of like nftd programming right like you can't resell a ticket for x amount blah blah blah blah blah right so you get all the benefits of the sort of nft tickets but on top of that you get um the pros of not needing a wallet not needing to transact not needing Wi-Fi right so it kind of like takes the existing Solutions and uh and really uh kind of modifies and upgrades them and on top of that if it's a link drop right if your secr key is a link drop then Step One is get into the event and then if you refresh the page you've got some juicy rewards after that right whether that's like a PO app whether that's like a whole on the ground digital economy like tokens and stuff that you can use to transact really doesn't matter but the point is that your ticket can then unlock something so it's not just the ticket but it's sort of your gateway into a whole other immersive experience right yeah no it super exciting so let's take a little step back for people who you know and we can get technical because we're we're we're aiming for developers but I just want to make sure people understand like what we're really saying here so with the when you say just an access key that's all that they're holding what does that look like physically on like their device sure yeah so I mean like a very common use case and this is something that like we've merged yesterday into the main site keom is you come to a gallery right uh or let's say someone creates an event and they have their event page and they just blast it out on Twitter right so you get you land on this event page and there's some tickets maybe there's a VIP ticket may there's a standard ticket that you can buy right what you would do is you click on that you you know buy 1 two 3 four whatever doesn't matter right uh and then in your email you'll receive a link to your ticket and that ticket um will just be a QR code and like a button to sell for example right so all that you have on your end is just a QR code that's it so you don't care about what's in the QR code you don't need to care about what it does all you got is a QR code and then when you get into the event right all you do is you show them your QR code they scan it green check mark great you're in done and that QR code though so people are wondering that is though connected to your actual URL that is hold that is where that access key is you know I guess like referenced that is correct yeah exactly right but the QR code is the sort of embedded secret key got it got it so why I think this is important that like you couldn't really build this on another chain it kind of has to be near can you talk a little bit about like why near specifically allows you to do something like this sure yeah I mean so like the account abstraction portion is is really really neat um and sort of is the backbone of the entire product right just the fact that you can sort of create these throwaway Keys uh because if you think about like the possible space for for Keys uh there's if you generate a random key you're never ever going to generate the same random key right so you can keep continuously generating random key Pairs and they're all going to be unique and with that you can create these sort of throwaway one time use Keys which represent your tickets right and so on near accounts can have um multiple multiple of these sort of access Keys versus something like ethereum where you have one key to your account if you lose it you're screwed um if you know it gets leaked they have access to all your your assets and all that kind of stuff right but on near what what you have that's different is um this key can only do a very specific thing right so you can have a whole bunch of these different keys and they can only do these specific actions and in our case it's like okay this key can only be used to get into the event that's it it can't steal the money on the contract it can't like wipe your account it can't do anything it's only used for these it's one very small purpose and that's tickets right um and so with that comes um a really really neat um idea which is the the ability to sort of program these keys to do a very specific thing which is you know get into the event give me a PO app give me a whatever right so on near um if I were to sum it up uh you know you you can have many many different keys that can each be programmed to do very specific things on an account right and that's a really really powerful feature um because essentially if you program a key to have very specific restrictions you don't really necessarily need to care whether or not it gets uh leaked or whether or not you lose it you don't have to put it in a ledger right if you have a key that has access to your entire account you don't want to lose it right so you want to put it in the safest place possible Right you want to like encrypt it have it on a ledger like you know write it down on paper and never ever tell anyone about it never ever transmited anywhere right and so with the increased risk comes like an increased level of security that you want to have over your key and all of that creates um sort of a worse user experience for like everyday users right if anytime I wanted to transact I need to like pull out my ledger or I need to like go into my bookshelf and get my paper where I wrote my seed phrase on and like very carefully enter it on a very specific app and check the URL is exactly what you know this the app is and there's no fishing you know make sure that everything is up to then no one's going to use web 3 right like it just doesn't make any sense um but if you had a different key on your account that was like only for this one app that let you do very specific things and you know if you lost it who doesn't who cares right then it vastly increases the ux you don't need to lock it in a vault right you can just have it in your browser and so with near uh what's great is that these different types of access Keys um can lead to uh different levels of a user experience right so now you've got tiered user experiences the very bottom you're like full access key yeah still lock it in a vault and whatever but as you move up the layers right you sort of um increase that user experience because the risk isn't as much as if you were to lose your full access game right right yeah no I I mean this is something that definitely is underutilized right it's definitely just not being leveraged enough so for you guys let's talk a little bit about this now as an actual product so to go from like you said kind of like an R&D model where you're trying these different things and now you start to move to ticketing as Developers what are some of the challenges that you started to see as you move into more of a product phase sure yeah so I I guess straight off the bat um ticketing is a saturated market right there's tons of companies doing ticketing both in web 3 and web 2 and so um in order to get people to a listen to our proposal B try it out and C like actually pay us for it or integrate it um that's kind of a leap of faith right um it's it's kind of like dominoes or a snowball getting the first or it's even like raising getting the first investor or getting the first person to believe in your product and use it is always the hardest but once you have that one proven use case it's kind of like dominoes all the rest are going to fall right uh and so with ticketing uh we're we're kind of in the process right now of talking to the top 50 biggest web 3 conferences like we've got ncon and ncon we did you know was a great job I really love the user experience but it' be great if we had um a sort of ticketing on a different chain that's not our native chain right like like an eth Denver like a consensus right something like that a big conference that's not native to our chain to really prove hey we can do this and it's not just on near chain abstraction right uh and we'll get into that later in the sort of U podcast um but yeah the biggest part is uh is really proving that what you have um really makes a difference and is worth the sort of development time because a lot of these big conferences they've spent a ton of Dev Cycles integrating um other ticketing providers so if you want to get them to change that's a lot of integration work and if it's not worth uh the time it's not worth the effort you know the ux isn't really that much better they're not going to change right and so really making sure that uh we're hyper clear on what it is that we offer that we're hyper clear on you know the money saving the user experience uh you know how we're different how it's better you know uh where we stand out is um you know it's it's that's the sort of selling point and what's going to drive this sort of adoption for this technology and coming from two technical co-founders like you know we can do it um it's just a little bit harder than if we had like a native you know marketer a business Hound like that kind of stuff right yeah for sure no that that that makes a ton of sense so why don't let's let me um I want to actually bring up what you got your guys site here because let's so one of the things here so you were talking about so I'm going guess this is an example of like what tickets would kind of look like right you said there's a QR code and as simple as that now you mentioned early that the only one who needs WiFi is the one scanning or any kind of internet connection the one scanning it that's correct so how do you I mean what's the the like the the par how do you start to change people people like get people to understand that part I feel like if I had told you like look you know we're going to do this all digitally we're going to make this you get these QR codes but if you have like poor reception inside the arena it's not a big deal as long as your card readers you know can handle it is that is that something where like you have to educate on that and really like almost like prove it that it works because I feel like that some people would be really off-put by I don't need any internet how does this all work yeah I mean so that's uh so that's something actually that um so if we F if we go back in time about 12 months um so Min and I are in our last year of University at the University of waterl studying engineering um and at the end of fiveyear programs um at the University everyone has to do a big project right um and we're thinking to ourselves what the hell are we going to do what what's going to be our big project right I don't want to make a drone I don't want to make some random sort of Robotics thing that I'm not really going to touch after this I wonder if we can do something with keom right and so um what we thought of was what if we build out this insane ticketing but it works entirely without Wi-Fi including the scanners right so the scanners don't need Wi-Fi um how can we do that right what you know and so we built it for um for this big project it all worked it was dope and so to to your question how do you sort of educate I think um by showing right so there's a lot of conferences out there uh or a lot of events that would benefit from a Wi-Fi list solution I I'm not sure I don't think Ticket Master offers anything Wi-Fi list I don't think Eventbrite offers anything Wi-Fi list I I think there's very very few ticketing providers out there that do offer entirely Wi-Fi list ticketing um but definitely showcasing the product is is a way to go and and you might ask yourself okay well how do the scanners don't the scanners need Wi-Fi this chain stuff well so we built it um for this big project uh entirely using um like public key cryptography um and so all your tickets would sign these little messages and and it was all it was all signing messages and it wasn't signing transactions right when you sign a transaction essentially you're signing a message with your key the only difference is that you're then posting that to the network so if you just don't post it to the network and you and you maintain like a local um sort of Ledger of all these sort of signed messages uh and those are all interacting with each other using um Wi-Fi now it your conception of Wi-Fi is is is different you're thinking like internet right so you can have Wi-Fi without internet if devices are connecting to each other and talking to each other just you're you're not doing it over internet you're sort of establishing a connection between the two and so um that all worked we had it all sort of demo and stuff now um that's not as big of a sell as uh just like a generic ticketing solution because with that you needed to have custom devices right like we had bought a bunch of these Samsung tablets and stuff and programm them and we had like an app that you could you know download and do all that stuff but then you know the infrastructure costs are a little bit higher but uh but yeah the the the roundabout answer to your question is um show don't tell right that's that's my number one sort of lesson that I think I've learned at my time in web 3 mainly from Matt lock here is is show don't tell right if I just tell someone hey you know we works with that Wi-Fi that be okay great but if you show that it works if you take them out to a remote location you do a ticketing right in the desert man like it it'll work right which is which is super neat yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so like I saw you did some examples here examples that people can actually including the burger party um see this might be my there you go yeah so you get you know and I think this was great because being able to try this out and I think when people see this and they see okay this is very standard right like this is is no different than any other event thing you sign up for right give me some information here's how many tickets do I need and go from there is a really interesting proposition because it doesn't feel like the what we think of today as web 3 right like this is now yeah it's anything else you use and notice that you're not even signed in you don't have a wallet you don't have anything right all you need to do is just get the ticket and that's it right and and the interesting part to here is you'll notice that there's some organizer questions right and that's another feature that we've added which I think is really cool because over the years we've gotten a lot of feedback hey I want to know who is coming to my event I want to know where they're from I want to know if they're a newcomer I want to know if they've been here before and for the longest time we had no way of doing that because I'm not going to put your like we don't host any databases right we don't Mo most of the stuff is on chain with the exception of like stripe and our email worker which are both nice to have so they're not necessary for this to work um and so we didn't know how to do it but we took a cryptography class in our last year of school and it was the coolest thing ever and we learned a ton and we spent a lot of time with like the teacher talking through some of these things and so with the power of uh a lot of cryptography and endtoend encryption um all of this information that you're providing uh is all accessible to the uh to the EV organizer you can ask custom questions you can you can do whatever you want right what is your favorite color that's not a standard question I put that in there right tell me a joke please with the colon the smiley face right that's not a standard question I as the event organizer when I went to set up this event I asked for those specific questions I marked one as required one is not required right and that's all encapsulated in this like no code event creation portal right um and so yeah that's another really cool feature and then um in my event uh like I can browse through my events and I can view all that information I can view who's been scanned in who didn't attend I can you know download it all as a CSV you know I can see how many tickets were purchased all that kind of stuff it's all accessible um in the app which is another awesome thing and what was the purpose of encrypting all of this you is it to are you putting it into a smart contract still or is it actually it's all it's all on chain uh but it's all end to end encrypted right the only person that can get it is the event organizer very cool very cool yeah now is this something now as you start to implement more of this stuff do you see this as being the main feature for what you guys are continuing to build or do you start to see like other products come off of this new piece of infrastructure that you put in sure so so in terms of like a road map um keom as an entity uh is kind of split up into two into two things right there's uh uh there's the key pom front end which allows anyone to to to make tickets and you know do whatever uh using the sort of user experience that we've built out right so this is a no code platform for people to go and create events they can create multi- tiered events like VIP ticket standard ticket all the Jazz right you can stripe Fiat all that stuff right um and those are all basic tickets right those and it's extremely cheap too uh so like I don't know if you saw that post post a while ago thatd you can make a 500,000 person event for like 80 cents less than a near uh right there was like 0.1 near or something um and the price of near has gone up a lot since then but um so but less than a near right um with multiple ticket tiers so it's really really really cheap um compare that to something like Ticket Master where not only are you um are you s of restricted to a set amount of events per month right so if you go over like 2 3 4 You got to pay ton of money but also on a $100 ticket they're charging $20 20% like I just bought uh tickets in Toronto for my mom for Mother's Day to go see the Han Zimmer uh live in concert uh amazing amazing U composer by the way uh and I was paying $80 fees I'm like this is ridiculous right so um being able to open this up in a no code platform so that people can you know easily create events that's super duper duper cheap and aren't paying ridiculous fees and are not gated to like a set amount of events per month like you can make as many events as you want you can do what like it's really it's the the ethos of web 3 right so there's that part of it which is the sort of no code platform and the other side of keom is um our kind of how do I say we're more of like a a B2B we're a Dev a Dev shop essentially and so what that means is that there's a lot of big conferences out there that want um a very specific user experience right they want your ticket to you know turn into um this portal where you can scan things and also there's a multi-chain aspect to it so you can get dropped you know po apps on any chain you can spend your your tokens for Merch food you can get you can enter Raffles you can auctions all this kind of stuff right this on the ground digital economy very similar to what we did um for ncon but chain abstracted uh tons of more features and branded and sort like we build that out for these conferences and they'll pay us for it right so that's that's our primary source of Revenue you right now is building out these sort of use cases like the the ticketing thing you saw on the platform we don't make money off that right um we don't charge fees I don't want to charge fees um you know that's not really what again keom is a public good right the protocol is a public good um for the foreseeable future it will M it will remain a public good it's been a public good for two years right um uh and so I don't want to I don't want to kneecap like the everyday users uh by charging fees and stuff um but if if people want custom stuff like if they want my time to build out custom user experiences we're going to we're going to charge for it right and so that's what we're kind of trying to go towards is um getting our feet wet with these big major conferences and building out these sort of user experiences so from a from a product perspective that's our main sort of uh source of Revenue and then this other stuff is for the everyday consumer the everyday person who wants to set up like events and stuff in a a really cheap way and not get absolutely screwed by like ma massive fees right sure so I think there's two things that I want to hit on one is that so really cheap this way can you explain to the audience though like why this is even cheaper than at say nft ticketing because it's definitely cheaper than even that yeah so um essentially the cost to set up an event is is very very very cheap because everything is is like lazily minted right all you're storing on the chain is kind of like this is my event this is what the ticket outlines and um this is what it's called this is you know the restrictions on the tickets and stuff you're you're kind of just defining the interface right you've got like an empty bucket uh and this bucket is the event and then whenever someone goes and buys a ticket right they're they're paying a very very very small amount of near to uh pay for the cost of adding that key right um adding the key and then they sort of like encrypted user information uh and that's about it right so all they're paying for is very small amount of bites um per key and so per ticket if you have a $100 ticket Ticket Master is charging you $20 we're charging you like less than a cent right um and so you know you're just paying for the storage costs on chain uh and we've hyper optimized uh the smart contract so that um even the nft interfaces are all like I mean like Joe you you you know with Shard dog right like there's a lot of optimizations you can make here uh with sort of nft tickets and it's not like each account is getting an like an entire nft they're kind of like getting a reference to an nft from like a programming perspective right you're not you're not cloning every nft you're just referencing it so yeah yeah no I think that I mean that's that's huge right so that the where even I think traditional like the first wave of nft ticketing was hey we're going to Mint X number of tickets we have all these different nfts that are already on chain and that initial cost balloons and you know depending on what chain you're on right it could get fairly expensive um that whereas this feels like the other thing to consider too is that like traditional nfts all belong to wallets and so you have to maintain a ton of State as to like who owns what and what they own and how many they own and all that kind offf but with this there's no owner it's just a key right so all of that data all that data is no longer being stored so it's a lot cheaper in that sense too is that what led to then this like where you know the registration form piece because you're you're now losing like that ownership name because there's no more wallet in the middle there um so there's no wallet right so when you go to buy a ticket you don't have to put in a wallet all you need to do is your email so you can get that key uh right and that's about it right uh there's no there's no owner on chain it doesn't belong to ben. near or whatever um and I don't you know we've had we had a lot of calls with a lot of people and like oh but that's like weird and stuff but and I'm thinking to myself but why do you need to have an owner like why if you have the QR right from an everyday perspective uh you know web 2 like you know I don't need to have it tied to to like my passport or whatever like it's just I have the ticket and I can use the QR code to get in done right that's it just like at any other event if you had a if you had your QR code and you know you sent it to your friend they could use it to get in right for more high-profile conferences right where you want to double check ID and stuff we do build that out right like for these big conferences again that like B2B style stuff that we're doing we do build out that sort of uh ownership model um but for everyday conferences like they're not going to be asking you for ID and your passport every time every sing person they're just like you have a valid ticket gray you're in um and makes sense so for for that in that regard then too though is there something here maybe you already kind of said it though where I attend the event can can that turn into something that I then owned his show as like yes I went there he has my proof of 100% yeah totally um and this is something uh that I'm excited about is um expanding on this ticketing model so right now as an event Creator as an event organizer when I go through this event set up I I'm sort of like uh pushed down a very linear path which is like okay I'm just setting up this this one ticketing event and it's just tickets but in the future there's going to be all these sort of branching options okay here's my interface for my for my event what it's called Blah Blah Blah do I want gifts okay if I do want gifts what are the gifts um you know should this turn into XYZ and so um we're going to be working over the next uh few few weeks um with pagota to to launch um like a templated version of this that anyone can fork and anyone can modify anyone can sort of change the UI change the user experience change like do you know all this kind of stuff um for developers um so that they can take this and they can make it their own because that's another point of feedback that we've gotten is hey how do I take this and I want to change like this part I want to change that part how do I do that right and so templating this out and making it accessible to developers um is is sort of another direction that we're going to go very soon nice so yeah you guys have not lost any of that open source piece of it right so this is all there what what what's driving that you know I think again and and I want to frame this as people who are maybe Web Two developers now and listening to this they say well why are you why you open sourcing everything well why is everything available to then build on top of sure yeah so the only thing that is not open- sourced is our stripe workers um just because like we aren't super stripe native and so if we made a mistake I don't want people poking holes in that but other than that the entire front end all the smart contracts absolutely everything the marketplace is all open source and um when I first started at near I had a very similar mindset which is like why open sources I was talking to Matt I was like should we not just like close sources what if someone takes it and then just like uses it and then we don't make money and stuff um you know and I was a young kid yeah it was a valid thing to you know sure absolutely yeah it's a real question yeah and uh and what he what he sort of explained is that um the tech that we built is it's really really complicated right the smart contracts are very complicated uh and also we're we're getting them audited um the audit will start uh August 1st uh with our SEC which is going to be awesome uh and so you have an audited piece of code that is extremely complicated uh if someone wants to go and read through all that and understand the entire contract and make changes to it great do it I by all means spend all the time in the world doing that but the vast majority of these people um that are going to be using it the vast vast majority are going to use the back end as is and change the front end and I have absolutely no problem with that um I think primarily I want this to be software that enables sort of a a push and a change in the ticketing industry cuz it's it's insane what's happening right now um and if people are going to make positive contributions even open up a poll request if they want to feature we've had that a couple times in the past like hey we want we need this can we build it sure go ahead right I have absolutely no problem with that um and so open source forcing it this isn't a source of Revenue either right so it's not like we're making money off this so it's not like you can just take it and turn off fees CU we don't even have any fees uh so I like I don't care if you take it you change it like make it your own you don't even have to say powered by keepon I don't care um right like it so it's not like it's slashing ourselves in the foot it's not this is not a product that we're selling right yeah no makes that I mean I think that's a great answer and that is something that probably a lot of developers kind of struggle with where it's like trying to better understand of like where is the revenue possibly going to come from and understand what is my product really and you know like you've said like this is more of a protocol not a product and now your product though is hey here's this tick system here we can customize it we can do these things yeah and I think we're I think we're in a unique uh situation where our open- source stuff is is is like not something that's Revenue generating um you know and that like that's not a lot of companies have the benefit of that right so it would be a different story I think if um our protocol was our primary source of Revenue and we had like a fee um baked into the protocol that um you know like we were charging 2% fees or something and it was baked in the smart contract someone could just like take our open source smart contract deploy it and then change that fee to be zero for example and even in that situation like think about the amount of people that are going to be using this um if one out of every 20 Forks the Keyon protocol makes changes as a rust developer understands like you know needs to dig into the code to see where the fees are understand how to change it turn it off and like integrate it back into their own app um again I don't really care uh it's a lot people I think underestimate how much work that really is and how much you really have to execute on some of this stuff for it to really be meaningful yeah and if you're going to do that over like 2% fees like you know go for it honestly yeah the best use your time for sure for sure uh one other thing I wanted to hit on um is you mentioned chain abstraction so this is obviously a topic near this is a a push that's coming now how are you guys starting to leverage it and and what does that mean for the keom product sure yeah so uh right now uh and again this is kind of two-sided one is the the the open source app with the templates right and so with that uh I'll start there is while we go and template out um this entire product so to speak um we'll be introducing the ability to create events with um drops on other chains right do you want to reward an eth user with an eth po app as you know as their post attendance gift do you want to reward them with some tokens on eth you want to report them polygon blah blah blah right so um templating it out so that your ticket is not just native to near um the the the analogy that I like to use is that near and I've always said this since day one is near as the infrastructure chain and it enables all these use cases so by storing um the sort of big information and like the transaction all most of the transaction is happening on near and then only when you want to Mint the token on e that's when that transac that cross chain transaction happens near is like this Beacon chain that enables all the stuff and then sort of like the vast majority of it's happening on near and then oh we got a mint on E Boom come back oh we got probably going to come back right so it's kind of like that driving chain um but that's the sort of user experience that that we're going after for this sort of templated stuff is being able to be dropped uh assets cross chain um now for the conferences uh that you know the sort of B2B Dev shop stuff it's very similar but um way way way more complicated where uh you're connecting up U maybe an e wallet and getting those those assets Dro directly in there you're getting a of different assets from all these different chains right you're you're um you know getting fungible tokens you're getting auctions Raffles nfts all this stuff happening on all these different chains uh right poly e like all the sponsors that are at these conferences can have like these po apps on their native chain um and all this is happening you know on all these different chains where near is again that sort of uh Center Point uh and building all that out and building out that user experience so that it is really really really clean um and brand and all that kind of stuff uh is is is where we're going uh so yeah just getting dropped assets cuz if you went to ncon uh you last year I think um you know you got assets you got some nfts you got some tokens and stuff but they were all on near right uh if I'm an eth user and I have an eth wallet right ideally my ticket all I need to do is you know when I'm on my when I get scanned in and I've entered this event all I need to do is like enter my eth address and then the asset get dropped directly into that I don't need to pull out my ledger I don't need to do anything I don't need to sign transactions you know my eth account just the assets get dropped directly in that and if you don't have an eth account doesn't matter anyway right then we'll create for you or something right so uh that's the sort of user experience being able to be dropped things on your native chain without being forced down this like near funnel yeah makes a Tenon of sense that's really really cool looking forward to see actually how that gets all implemented and everything uh before we wrap up uh me you haven't had a chance to talk but I wanted to ask you some specific questions uh I know you've been handling a lot of support stuff and one of the things that developers sometimes forget is that yeah it's great to ship a product but then if you have users especially if your users are developers uh there's a support aspect of it how has keom kind of approached this as you've grown into being more of a product not just a a protocol um well I think a big part is having all the infrastructure there already so having the docks everything open source has been super helpful um just being able to reference it for developers um and then just keeping an eye on the chats really um interfacing with developers helping them build um also going to hackathons helping uh bring developers to near and show them the power of near whether or not it's with keom or not um I think has been crucial what is the the response been like when you go to the hackathons and you show again like you said well it's building on top of keom or just in near what are some of the things that you're seeing Trends um in terms of like what the I guess are developers are receptive to you know some of these more because again I here I'll give you the example so a lot of times now people they come from ether you know an e evm based chain and you start to introduce some of these things of like what the account abstraction really is how the key model really actually works which is very different um then something they're not really used to is that something that they become receptive to or is it something where like you feel like there's like some push back like Ah that's something I want to learn yeah I I found the majority was almost like they didn't believe it in a way like it was almost too good to be true because they're they're used to these uh like building with so much friction um and like having to set like a big one um that I found was like introducing people to boss and how you can like deploy components just from Jutsu like instantly um because a lot of people came up to me with questions asking about like how do I like use the hello near whatever example to like set up my own react app and I asked like you don't necessarily need to do that you can just go to Jitsu and like you have this AI thing and you can like for components and deploy it super easily and it's like it's magic right but behind the scenes there's a lot of this complicated type going on but from a developer perspective um once they see it actually work um it's like they're very recep to it but it just takes a second for it to click and actually realize that it's not like um you know it is that simple yeah yeah for sure for sure how's it been writing technical documentation for a product is that something that you feel is this particular skill set or is that something just as you're going over time you just get better at um I think it took a lot of nurturing from Benji um because he's kind of like the standard uh but um it took a little bit of time to kind of like understand how to frame uh things and like properly show um how things work uh but I think it's definitely a skill that anybody can pick up it's really just about being able to communicate the idea from your head um into into like you know useful documentation yeah yeah no great Point yeah I it's it's something that we probably don't always always consider and spend enough time as especially if you're a small team right like you're just trying to get product out uh I think we could point to a lot of examples even in the ecosystem of projects that are doing great stuff but then like there's just no documentation because it feels timec consuming it feels like it's uh it's a big lift but I think you said in the beginning here of like it's helped you though a lot when it comes back to support right like where hey long term really probably saved you yeah that's another thing that I that I briefly want to talk about is that sort of um Balancing Act between releasing product and maintaining docks and maintaining like a community and stuff because as the protocol kind of evolves um you know we keom as as an entity keom as keom is not so much all about drops and nfts and tokens and you know onboarding uh anymore um because there are significant players in the ecosystem that are doing arguably a a better job right mint based wallet is doing an amazing job I absolutely love what those guys are doing Shard dog you know Joe you guys are doing an amazing job and I absolutely love what you're doing right and so um realizing that um hey we need to take a step back and sort of focus on the stuff that we're really really good at um not only is that it's it's it's it's a big sigh of relief for us too because now we don't have to maintain all that stuff again we're a very small team um but we have people that are doing it better right and that's always what we've wanted since day one is for companies to come and pick up some of these very specific aspects of the protocol and just do it and do it better right um but now we're having to find out or sort of find a balancing act between okay what do we need to sort of restructure docs docs is not been um up to date school new product all that kind of stuff uh and turning it into this sort of templated ticketing stuff right um and and sort of figuring out a way to to sort of structure it in a way that's not all about sort of drops and tickets or drops and tokens and stuff like that and also maintaining that Community Support yeah yeah I I think great point it's something that is certainly sometimes a blind spot for for developers and uh great lessons here of just you know finding that balance and it's going to probably be different for different projects but uh it's one of those things where I feel like from just experience over year the years as a developer that if you can find the time make the time for it it will pay off in the long run uh you know it's just you could easily find yourself they just drowning in it as well so oh yeah definitely uh this is uh really I mean super excited that you guys are are back focusing on this and really driving this stuff uh forward because there's so much to really learn I I will personally say again as someone who is building on top of keom using it for a long time now uh I would encourage anyone who's just interested in like how accounts work on near to actually dive into keom to really see that because it's probably the best example still out there of like the power of again the key model and the whole aspect of the accounts on near and to get a better sense of that because I know it's driven product decisions for us it's been I'm sure other people again like you mentioned like the way mint base has now started to do some of that stuff again like I I would be shocked if they didn't say they looked at your your guys stuff and to see how some of that stuff was all working because you've been at the Forefront of all of that um as we wrap um what are some takeaways that you want to just maybe highlight uh that you know again we certainly want to have you back as you guys continue to grow and talk some more uh Tech about this but what are some things right now that you guys want to highlight for the audience sure I mean uh right now we're working with uh with sweat um to develop out and sort of revive oneclick connect um because i' still think that the wallet selector needs a lot of work and there's still some friction in in sort of onboarding users especially from apps that abstract a lot of the wallets away and as near continues to grow and sort of gains a lot more adoption there's going to be a lot more apps out there that hide the wallets um you know the the hot wallet you have you know sweat you have like sort of the the video gaming to play Embers of the world right and so being able to log into apps without needing to go to the app open Wallet sector find which wallet you sort of come from if you even know right do I know I'm coming from from like you know play Amber I don't know is that the play Amber wallet I don't know and then having to click go back to play Amber approve come back right that's just not a great experience right so from play Amber's perspective or From sweat's perspective just being able to have a button that just instantly logs you into you know like a meta pool or you know something like that right um and so we're we're we're building that out um you know that's going to be finished in the next two weeks um live uh and then on top of that ideas of a chain abstracted version where you could log into eth Apps you could log into you know sort of any app on any chain uh directly from sort of like a sweat would be really really cool um and then honestly I think the best way uh forward is if you go to a conference you have a really dope experience you look down at your phone and a keepon right that would be awesome uh and that's something that I hope people look out for and uh and I hope actually happens um but a lot of our time in the next few weeks uh or a few months is going to be spent um behind the scenes with the sort of B2B style uh building out this you know stuff for these conferences um shipping out the sort of template stuff in the one click uh so there's a lot of work to be done and again we're a small team but I'm sure that uh you know we're going to dominate the ticketing space uh in conferences uh so certainly looking forward to it and is that one click going to be available uh for other projects to use all open sourced all documented you know we're Reviving the entire thing so that's going to be fun yeah super exciting well uh again thank you guys so much for for jumping on and spending a bunch of time with us today uh I would encourage everyone again if you have not checked out make sure you go to the website make sure you see what's going on there uh check out the docs uh they are great uh try stuff out there's a telegram group you can kind of jump in come ask questions uh you know and this is something where uh if you are building on near uh it is worth your time to just at least look at what's happening with keom so that way you see hey does this fit my project instead of trying to reinvent the wheel do some same there's a lot of great stuff already in here yeah you you don't have to use it but I think it's very it's very rewarding to learn about the account model and so if you have any questions about access keys or sort of account model reach out I'm not going to say hey build on top of key pom cuz if I don't like forcing things if it makes sense it makes sense if not just learn about it um because it is very rewarding um as you said so thank you so much Joe for having us uh really really appreciate it it's been an honor um great talking to you and and I'm sure we'll keep in touch absolutely thanks so much guys appreciate it see you soon all right great stuff today this was uh you know again a jam-packed episode and again I I think this is something that I really want to make sure everyone is taking time to review if you're looking at building on if you're already building on near it's a great thing to do now uh I week after week we've been highlighting the Bounty booster so now again here's another example where hey I'm going to a hackathon I want to build something I need a I want to have an easy account feature I want to have an easy way to do a drop I want to look at maybe what they're doing with ticketing if you use keom which is built on near and you put it in your project and you win a hackathon and when a prized at a hackathon that is not already sponsored by near then you can actually apply for us to match your prize up to $5,000 so again the Bounty booster here uh through devhub is an awesome opportunity so here's all these projects right juu earlier right building that front end that's all on near so if you do that and you deploy that front end and you win a prize there you go we we can match that prize you use keom same thing it's an awesome easy opportunity that's why we're going to keep bringing these different projects on we hope you take advantage of it uh it's a great way to kind of pull all of that stuff together everything like that before we wrap up I want to make sure that we continue on uh with our our tweet of the week and this is something that again if you're following Along on on near you're going to see a lot more of and let's bring this up Elia founder one of the co-founders of near uh tweeted out yesterday uh about what is some of the focus here on uh near Ai and this is something that again uh let's keep this bigger so you guys can all see it better that's even worse all right let's go back here let's bring it back here we go so a lot of questions come up about like what is the AI going to actually be you know is this just something a buzzword or whatever else that that happens in in blockchain trying to pull these things together uh and this is a nice introduction and breakdown of what it's actually going to be and you can I won't again I'm not going to read the whole tweet to you I encourage you to kind of read through uh the blog post here as well about what some of the details are if you're working on AI and you're interested in how that kind of intersects with web 3 uh this is a great opportunity there is also opportunity to apply to the uh Horizon group and which is through near that's a kind of an incubator to help you know you grow your project uh there's going to be tons of different support for any AI application that can then leverage near uh that's also where chain abstraction comes in uh where again being able to interact with other chains it's not just about doing everything just on near uh but this is where this is all going so I encourage you to uh check out this tweet uh read through the blog post and uh learn a little bit more about where this is going that's our tweet of the week again uh thanks so much for everyone for for joining uh again this was been an excellent episode we had Jutsu we had keom we we learned a lot we have all different infrastructure talking about today open source a lot to learn from this uh keep following all all our socials we have again we're growing on Tik Tok Instagram Twitter uh if you're watching us now on YouTube or on Twitch uh you can continue to subscribe there as well uh until next week uh thanks everyone and keep building bye-bye","transcript_synced_at":"2026-11-03T04:09:18.097Z","segments":[{"start_seconds":26,"text":"o what you want what you want what you want what you what you want what you want
